I loved it here. We stayed in 3 different t rooms and each was unique. The view is wonderful. Breakfast, while not included, was excellent and reasonably priced. The location near the airport and with direct roads to all other parts of the island made it a great jumping off point for excursions.

Not recommended. Give wrong account number and paid someone else . Lost of money and lack of professionalism. ????????????????????

The perfect start in a wonderful Mauritius trip. Value for money is perfect. We had the most ocean front room, simple but cosy, with an amazing view all around directly at the beautiful located pool. Public areas are lovely decorated, everywhere something to discover - like a little boutique style hotel. (Watch our 360 degree pictures - our business)
The biggest surprise was the breakfast with a lot of fruits, fresh pancakes or waffles, freshly prepared eggs and much more. The ladies are all so kind and friendly. Mahébourg is not the touristic main spot, but with the most friendly people on the island.
Only a few minutes by car from the airport - but absolutely quite. (Please note that this opinion is by a very experienced hotel manager and professional in travel industry and his similar in hospitality experienced wife.)

The villa is a real gem in Mahebourg. The host and staff members are very kind and warmly welcomed us. We highly recommend ChillPill guesthouse! Really top notch!

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans la villa. La décoration est magnifique : authentique et soignée. Nous avons profité d'une immense terrasse avec 2 salons confortables offrant une jolie vue sur la piscine et l'océan. L'endroit est calme, tout est beau et invite à la rêverie. L'ensemble du personnel est attentif, souriant et prêt à donner tous les renseignements pour que le séjour soit inoubliable.
A moins de 10 mn à pieds du front de mer, du marché et de la garde des bus, la situation est parfaite.

Good location near the airport. No room service. No dinner available here. Only breakfast and lunch. Good parking of around 7-8 Cars. Breakfast charges 400 rs per person. Wifi not working in room but good signals at Reception area. Infinity pool is a good area to capture pics.

Quick venue to get to from the airport. Right on the water's edge, cost effective to then maximise your time at the hotel you staying at. We stayed the night we arrived and the end of the day to get full value from our hotel stays

Pour moi, le ChillPill est le parfait exemple que les hôtels n'ont pas besoin de 5 étoiles pour être au top. L'emplacement est tout simplement magique face à la mer avec sa petite piscine à débordement juste à côté... L'architecture de ces bâtiments rajoute un romantisme hallucinant. Avis à tous les amoureux, cet hôtel est fait pour vous. La gentillesse de ses hôtes et du personnel en font un endroit unique. Je recommande cet endroit au charme inégalable à 200 voir 300%. De plus, Jean Paul (pêcheur), un ami des propriétaires, offre ses services pour des sorties authentiques en mer avec son petit bateau loin des usines à touristes... Le must pour ceux qui recherche une expérience toute en douceur et en partage du véritable patrimoine de l'île Maurice !

Chill place to stay. No wifi in the room though. Good pool (a bit small) and nobody is on the reception. You have to ring but it's well good located close to everything

Indeed, there is not someone at the reception 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, since we are a small family guest house! There is always someone present in the hotel, but unfortunately you will need to ring the doorbell or call us if you pass us for help. For wifi, normally each room (apart from our economy room at 40 euros) has this. If there was a problem, you should have told us!

Very friendly and helpful, family run and very good food. The rooms are small but comfortable. Situated on the sea front with fantastic views. Wonderful trips in the area. Breakfast is delicious and starts at 08:00, which is a big plus for people who like to start the day early. All in all I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place in the lovely fisher village. The little cottage by the water is wonderful and very comfortable. The staff and owners are super friendly and helpful.
I would stay there again and highly recommend the place! Thanks for the great time on Mauritius :-)

Le lieu est très bien placé au bord de la mer avec une vue magnifique.
Lors de notre passage la piscine était verte et ne donnait pas envie ! Le petit déjeuner est servi à partir de 8 heures un peut tard à nôtre goût

Bonjour,
Nous sommes assez choquée par votre commentaire, surtout après tout ce que vous avez fait ici. Vous avez prit une chambre vue sur jardin/mer a 45 euros pour 2 semaines, nous vous avons upgrade dans une grande chambre familiale vue sur mer a 70 euros gratuitement. Vous avez prit la chambre sans option petit déjeuner, nous vous l'avons signaler au check in. Au check out, vous avez eu un comportement très impolie et vous avez exploser au vue de la note (2 semaines de petit déjeuner). Vous avez crier au scandale, et fait toute une scène. Vous avez meme essayer de partir sans payer ! Vous avez au final, payer que la moitié après beaucoup de discussions intenses. Après 2 semaines de upgrade dans notre meilleur chambre et de nombreux services rendus, cela nous a choqués. La piscine à eu quelques soucis pendant quelques jours au vue de sa proximité à la mer mais cela a etais réglez. Le petit déjeuner est touts les jours de 8h à 10h.
Cela fait quelque mois que vous êtes partis, je ne pensée pas vous revoir après tout cela.

Absolutely beautiful place!
Just like the name says,it's a pure chill out place!
This is a must stay if you are visiting Mahebourg area or want somewhere close to the airport.
Beautiful views from the Seaview Rooms.
Amazing infinity pool.
Beautiful gardens.
Family run and they are so friendly and helpful.
They even let us use the facilities until 8.00pm before we left for the airport.
They let us use the kitchen to be able to make sandwiches after I'd bought bread etc to travel home with.
Will definitely stay there again if we return to Mauritius.
Will book a room with a kitchen next time,as Mahebourg is very quiet and restaurants are not always open.
Thank you very much for our stay,we absolutely loved it and hope to return soon!

Très belle guesthouse avec superbe vue sur la mer, très beau cadre au calme, accueil très sympthique. Chambres bien équipées et très propres.
Pas très loin du centre à pied, et à proximité des plages de la pointe d'Esny.
Un peu plus cher que les autres guesthouses du quartier mais cela vaut largement son prix pour la cadre et l'accueil.

Would definitely stay again if returning. There is plenty to do and explore in the area, so it’s a great base for part or all of your holiday.
