LUX GRAND GAUBE

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 6th year of wedding with a trip to Mauritius along with our 3 year old son. We planned for a vow renewal ceremony and doing it in the Lux Grand Gaube hotel was the best decision we ever made. The hotel is a paradise of luxury, elegance, and tranquility. From the moment we checked in, we were treated like royalty by the friendly and attentive staff. They made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The highlight of our trip was the vow renewal ceremony, which was arranged by the amazing wedding coordinator Nitisha. She was so thoughtful and creative in designing the perfect setting for us on the beach during sunset. She paid attention to every detail, from the flowers to the music, to the champagne. She also arranged a romantic dinner for us in a private gazebo overlooking the ocean. It was a magical and unforgettable experience.

We also want to thank Bhavish, who grasped our ideas and helped us capture some beautiful photos of our special day. He also gave us some tips on how to explore the island and enjoy its attractions. Thanks to Elena for so beautifully officiating our vow renewal that felt like a dream.

We enjoyed dining at Inti, thanks to the wonderful restaurant managers Yaseer and Madhavi who went out of their way to give us a well-curated dining experience. They personally came to our table and spoke to us, which was so thoughtful.

We had a wonderful time at the Lux Grand Gaube Hotel, and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to celebrate their love in a stunning and serene location or wants to have a memorable vacation. It was an exquisite and unforgettable stay that we will cherish forever. Thank you Lux Grand Gaube for providing us with an incredible experience! I wish I could give more than a 5-star rating.

This was the easily the best resort I've ever been to! The grounds are beautiful as are the room and common areas. The staff was friendly and helpful from the entrance to buffet to the beach. The concierge, Christopher, had my damaged luggage fixed! ???? Housekeeping came twice per day, providing turn down service. Front staff helped to organize a surprise private dining experience on the beach for my birthday. The chefs made sure that I knew what the gluten free options were each day and made special dishes without any request from me. Food was top tier.

We stayed in the Banyan (adults only area), which was perfect. I was reluctant to stay at a resort that wasn't adults only, but it was not a problem here. We had a tour the night we arrived and another one in the day time by the fitness coordinator. There are so many hidden gems that it was hard to leave the resort to explore Mauritius.

I just hope the Tree of Wishes grants my wish to return!

Sylvano the barista was incredible and the best part of our experience from the batista class to genuine conversation for morning coffee. He was the best.

Overall okay experience, beautiful location. Process for arrival and checkout could have been better having been shuffled around for half a day to book excursions and no clear guidance on what's included in our tier of stay. Honeymoon extras weren't much and our spa offer wasn't honored and turned into an upsell strategy instead.

Nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour fin octobre 2023. L hotel est magnifique et le service exceptionnel.
Les Chambres sont très grandes et très belles.
Les 2 plages dont celle réservée aux adultes sont superbes et le personnel toujours attentionné . La wifi est puissante et nous avions le réseau même sur les plages.
L ambiance est élégante.

La restauration est un vrai plus. Tous les restaurants ont des ambiances chaleureuses grâce à la qualité du service et les plats sont très bons. Pianiste au petit déjeuner, avec piano accessible la journée pour les clients. Ma fille a pu pianoter avec toute la bienveillance de nos hotes .
Serge le guitariste du restaurant de la plage adulte ( restaurant ouvert à tous ) dispose d un répertoire impressionnant et est d une très grande gentillesse. Nous avons fredonné ensemble et il m a meme preté sa guitare pour m amuser un peu.Le buffet de grande qualite tout comme le petit dejeuner sont de véritables voyages autour du monde. Tout est frais, tout est bon et toutes les cuisines de chaque continent se retrouvent. Un grand bravo au chef David qui a le souci de proposer chaque jour des plats differents et de qualite. une mention toute particulière pour sa cheffe pâtissière qui propose des desserts magnifiques et vraiment très bons. Exigents Nous avons vraiment été surpris par la qualité et la variété des douceurs proposées.
Enfin pour la restauration surtout ne pas rater le restaurant l Inti.
Cote sportif Nous n'avons pas utilisé la base nautique mais les services gratuits proposés sont bien là. Planche à voile, catamaran, paddle, ski nautique, bateau fond de verre pedalo (pour les courageux car il fait chaud )
Nous avons joué un peu au ping pong et la salle de sport climatisée dispose de tous les équipements. La encore l accueil est au niveau.
Pour conclure tout était parfait.
