Unfortunately, the one star is due by the dishonesty of putting prices without the VAT in the menu, so expect a 15% more when you pay the bill. Adding the fact they don't give you any receipt, I do not expect I am really paying taxes. The places and the food are not worth the money you overspend, the food is good enough, the owner is friendly but it doesn't make up for the bad surprise you will get at the end. Cash only, just to make it more clear, the added taxes are a scam.

The Food here is super fresh and delicious just like mom’s cooking! The owner, Mr Anwar is a walking dictionary with tons of knowledge - must be a senior Professor of MBA program. Very wonderful restaurant! Highly recommend ????????????

Very authentic place, they cook with love. I recommend it for those looking to eat Mauritian food in a local neighborhood with fresh ingredients and traditional ways of cooking. We loved it. The staff is family and the decoration is very simple but at the same time soooo nice!

Une petite pépite à faire absolument quand vous passez à Grand Gaube. Un accueil chaleureux, un endroit bien sympathique pour les yeux avec cette déco style aventurier. Les samoussas sont délicieux et les curry d'agneau ou de poulet pommes de terre et petits pois un vrai délice pour les papilles et les yeux (un curry plein de saveurs). Il vous serve comme accompagnement un achard aux citrons fait maison, c'est une tuerie. J'ai demandé un pot à emporter et c'est Ok pour 250 roupies. Je vais rapporter chez moi cette saveur dingue. Encore merci à vous pour ce repas aux saveurs des Indes.
