TROU AUX BICHES BEACHCOMBER

Had the 2 bedroom apartment which was comfortable. It is beautiful to open the curtains and see a lovely green garden. It is like a haven. So quiet that one can only hear the birds in the mornings. Each crescent has a pool which is very private. Two of the crescent pools are heated but not the main one. Felt so relaxed after our stay - relax++++. The hotel has a long beautiful beach and always easy to find a sun bed.
Only went to the buffet restaurant (for breakfast and dinner) which has a huge selection of food that caters for different tastes. The food was delicious and there is a different theme each night. They also have shows although wished the Friday night (start of a weekend) had a wow factor as the Saturday one (acrobatics show).
The staff are very pleasant and always helpful. The drivers of the little buggies are smiley and friendly. There are also security guards by the beach at night which made us feel secure.
As I have a small appetite, I tend to go half board packages which means I pay separately for lunch, drinks and snacks. I was amazed at some of those separate prices I was paying as they were more expensive than some good places in London. I appreciate that the prices should reflect the 5* standard of the hotel but it should be within reason and appropriate to what it is.
Overall had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel.

Our stay at Villa 714 at Beachcomber Trou aux Biches from October 2nd to October 12th was truly unforgettable. This resort enchanted us from start to finish. The villa itself was a dream come true, spacious, and the highlight was undoubtedly our own butler/host, who took care of us perfectly.

The morning breakfast in our private villa area was a feast for the senses, and it seemed like no request was too big or small to be fulfilled. The entire staff at the resort, whether it was the friendly buggy driver, the helpful reception, the relaxing spa employees, or the attentive concierge, was always there to make our stay a memorable experience.

The beach we experienced at Beachcomber Trou aux Biches was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful we've ever seen. Of course, there are vendors offering catamaran tours or similar activities, but they're just doing their job, and if you politely, but firmly, communicate with them, they respect your privacy.

All the restaurants in the resort impressed us with their delicious offerings. We chose to avoid the buffet restaurant and only dined there once during a special event. Our butler had made all the reservations for us in advance, allowing us to relax from day one after a long 28-hour journey.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Beachcomber Trou aux Biches Hotel. Our stay there was more than just a vacation; it was an unforgettable experience that will stay with us for a long time.

La plage publique est très étroite et, pour être un peu tranquille, il faut partir assez loin, le long de la grève au pied des resorts, hôtels et autres domaines qui ont privatisé l'espace. Nous avons largement préféré M'ont Choisy, juste au nord de Trou aux biches.

we booked 6 nights with the whole family and the nanny a villa. i cannot remember when i enjoyed vacation like this. the hotel organized a transfer from the airport to the hotel (about 1h drive). if you are travaling with a baby - it will not work with the babyseat (both ways they were not able to provide us with babyseats). once arrived in the hotel you will be welcomed warmly. they will tell you a lot of things. just make sure what you booked (halfboard, all inclusive or anything else and ask them again what is included and what not in your package). what i can recommend: gym, sport facilities, tennis courts, pool areas. not to recommend: golf, watersports, sea excursions. please also make sure that you try to eat at each restaurant they have minimum once - it is totally worth it.
