Been there for vacation I like it

Nice hotel has 2 swimming pools & 1 bar.
Stayed for two weeks with my girlfriend on vacation.
1st week all inclusive & 2nd week half board.
Food is a buffet style with a nice 3 star variety & tasted nice, chefs were good & attentive with some fresh cooking in front of customers at places, food is as I would expect for a 3 star resort.
Our room was clean & we had 2 single beds pushed together to make a king size which was adequate & did not have a "gap between bed" issue so we slept fine. We did try to find an English speaking movie channel but there was none available only BBC news was in English, as we were here for sun it was OK but the sun goes down at around 6pmish so would be nice if there was a movie channel available in English.
Bar service was mediocre with some staff not very attentive & deciding to finish typing text messages before approaching customers & also chatting amongst themselves when there is a customer waiting. I dont mind staff using mobiles & chatting when there are no customers to serve but when there are customers, I like to be noticed promptly.
Activities were offered daily & I was particularly impressed by Jonathan & Stephanie in the activities team, who made effort to speak with us on several occassions & was very pleasant & great staff members, also Patrick the boat captain was also very nice, accomodating & friendly.

Pas d'animations ...1 seule animatrice fait se qu'elle peut..
Pas de spectacle le soir, seulement représentations régionales...
Et ne parlons pas du restaurant...très peut de variétés, les fruits frais inexistants , le petit déjeuner est très vite épuisé, arrivé à 8h et déjà plus de viennoiseries....
Si vous arrivez le matin,après les 10 heures d'avion, la chambre n'est pas disponible AVANT 14h...pas de possibilité de manger avant 16h ( proposition d'une collation.....attention arrivée vite car pas de grand choix et petit buffet terminé à 17h !!!!)car le tout inclus commence à partir de 14h....
Heureusement le personnel est sympa..
Attention en traversant la route pour aller à la plage, voituresss ....et le 50 en ville ils ne connaissent pas à l'île Maurice ????....
Oubliez pas des chaussures pour vous baigner dans la mer ( poissons pierres très venimeux en cas de piqûre) ..la responsable fram et l'hôtel n'éprouve pas le besoin de le signaler lors de la PETITE réunion d'information.....malgrés l'hospitalisation d'une vacancière.....
Et je ne parle pas de la nom prise en charge, cette vacancière à du revenir en BUS à l'hôtel après son intervention !!!!!!!
Alors que la responsable fram était au courant !!!!!!! .
Bref, pays très beau, mauriciens TRÈS GENTILS, on se balade sans crainte ????...
Mais choississez un autre hôtel....
Surtout pour la restauration....ça ne vaut pas un 4 étoiles ????......
Salle de bain à rafraîchir....
Très peu de transats et parasols autour des piscines ( 24 transats et 3 parasols !!!)

This hotel was totally amazing. The staff great, everyone so kind. I had a fall in town, hospitalised 5 days, broken shoulder, the hotel organised doctor, ambulance, and even visited me in hospital with fruit They were amazing with their help Cannot thank them enough

Before that happened on 4th day, my partners birthday and they bought champagne & fruit to the room and then later a,cake with candles. The room maid decorated room with fresh flowers & ballons, so wonderful of them.
Hotel is clean, modern super staff, have entertainment, most evenings.
Food was ok, breakfast usual eggs bacon etc or continental, loads choices, dinner in eve had a lot of spicy local things, not to our English taste, some days was bit plainer, plenty of choices, lots vegs, & chicken & fish but the best bit they had a beautiful cold room full of cheese meats, salads & gorgeous puddings. Lots choices at lunch too.
Afternoon tea was cake & samosas, all very nice. We were all inclusive and it was great, even supplied beach/pool towels and free sunbeds esp on beach. Such a pretty well run organised place (shame 5 days was spoilt by my accident) Definitely recommend this place

Great place to enjoy a holiday, friendly helpful staff, good choice of food. Excellent room service, fresh towels every day if required.
Would certainly recommend.
