Un hôtel à taille humaine, luxueux et chaleureux, très bien situé sur une plage de rêve.
Des mets exquis, un service irréprochable et surtout un personnel attentif, attentionné, d une gentillesse rare, que ce soit en réception, en chambres et au restaurant. Sans oublier le personnel s occupant de la piscine, jardin et surveillance.
Mention spéciale pour Simi, Daniel et Rajeh, du restaurant. qui m ont choyé et qui sont d une très grande sympathie.
Mon séjour à l hotel a été vraiment parfait.

Je suis venue l'année dernière avec ma grand mère et mon mari et j'ai été ravie. Les dîners sont exquis. Le personnel est au petit soin. Petit bémol pour la salle de bain (la baignoire n'avait pas de douchette contrairement à celle de ma grand mère) et il y avait une souris.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions du personnel de ménage : météo de la journée suivante etc... mention spécial pour les serveurs qui sont adorables.

This is a hidden gem!
I’m not sure about the exact number but the feeling was that there were no more than 8 rooms in total.
No lines or waiting for anything. Always a bed available for you on the beach.

Having an “a la crate” breakfast and dinner every day, served by an always smiling staff is just the best you can ever ask.

Quietness, exclusivity and high standards of customer service are the main characteristics of this hotel. For us, this was true luxury.

Onze ervaring met dit hotel was fantastisch. Bij aankomst word je meteen door het gastvrije personeel in de watten gelegd met een doekje om je te verfrissen en een welkomstdrankje. Deze lijn wordt doorgetrokken tijdens het hele verblijf: je wordt verwend met een prachtige, luxueuze kamer in een al even luxueus en kleinschalig hotel dat rust uitstraalt (en effectief ook zeer rustig is). Het personeel is ongelooflijk vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ook het eten was geweldig: van ontbijt tot diner, alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd met bediening aan tafel en telkens een volledig menu (ook vegetarisch). Alle (inbegrepen) extraatjes waren mooi meegenomen: een duomassage, een cocktail bij zonsondergang, een romantisch diner, perfecte wifi in de kamer... Ik kan geen enkel minpuntje opnoemen. Geweldige ervaring!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine !
Le logement est très bien placé : accès au bus rapide, centre de plongé et petits commerces à 10 minutes à pied.
Le personnel est aux petits soins : la chambre est toujours nickel, les repas sont excellents. Il n'y a rien à redire !
La plage est vraiment au pied de l'hôtel avec places à l'ombre ou au soleil. C'est magnifique !

Recommend to go there mostly couples, its very calm and quiet place where you can spend a good time there. Excellent service. Room decoration was very very wonderful. Thank you so much for that and the cake and lunch was very delicious. Very great service, thanks to all staffs.Rooms are very beautiful. Don't regret to choose Le cardinal exclusive.

My wife and myself, have been professional in the tourisms industry for over decades, and we visited and stayed in hundreds of hotels in Mauritius and abroad. We stayed at Le Cardinal Exclusive Resort for 4 nights with our 2 sons and it was one of a lifetime experience. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival with a really nice cocktail and not just a sample of any fantasy drink. The check-in was done within seconds and within minutes we were in our room, followed by our luggage. He had a huge duplex room with a living room, toilet, minibar, and bunk bedroom for the children with a sea view terrace on the ground floor. On the first floor was the master bedroom, bathtub, WC and shower and again with a great view of the ocean.
The resort is sweetly small and convenient, we were the only Mauritian family staying at the resort and we were treated like kings and queen, the staffs, namely: Dinnoo, Daniel, Axel, Keshav, Ishfaaq, Devram, Kushi and of course the front office team made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay. They cared for our every single wish: DVD players, special meal for the kids… etc.
They do not have a buffet option and we believe that they do not need one. There is an a la carte option and a daily chef’s suggestion and every night we enjoyed only the chef’s suggestion with great delight. The food is amazing.
Certainly 3 can-do-better items would make the resort the perfect 5 star: a warm/cold welcoming towel upon arrival, a fruit/treat platter in the room, night room refreshing, but our overall experience was amazing, and we left the resort with the promise that we’ll come back soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED resort to rest, relax and enjoy nice lobsters.

As half board guests of the neighbouring Casuarina Hotel (under same management) we went here a couple of times for lunch. It's a relatively expensive (£30+ pp with wine) treat with better (but not great) service. The first time we went for lunch we were told we were welcome to stay on Cardinal sun loungers on beach that afternoon, the second time we were immediately told to vacate which was rude & inconsistent. Suggest you apply policies consistently to avoid offence, pretty much ruined our final afternoon in Mauritius.

Check in was an hour late. Then in the confusion, no room key given. So not too happy about that. Dinner meat a little on the tough side. Rooms are very nice. Beach is good. Piano player during dinner a lovely touch. No iron in the rooms.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Cardinal. Le site est vraiment superbe, l'hôtel donnant directement sur une plage de sable blanc. Le personnel est très attentionné et les prestations de très bon niveau. Chambres spacieuses, confortables et très bien décorées. Nourriture de qualité et variée. Impatients d'y retourner.

On pourrait "reprocher " la quantité dans les assiettes mais les goûts et l'innovation sont là !!!
Le personnel est exceptionnel de l'agent de sécurité a la femme de chambre en passant par le service restauration
Ils font tout pour que vous passiez un bon moment et vont même à repérer vos préférences (de lieu de table par exemple)
L'endroit est magnifique et calme
Taxi bus super facile à proximité
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe !!!!

Had a nice time. For a day pass was not enough for such little food and need to pay drinks for the price paid for a day package. Meal was too simple. But overall very cosy ans relaxing place.

Nous avons de passés de superbes vacances dans cet hôtel. La cuisine est excellente, le personnel aux petits soins. Les suites sont parfaites et offrent une vue imprenable sur la belle plage de l’hôtel. Rien à redire. Je recommande à 100%!

Petit hôtel ( par la taille) situé au nord de trou aux biches, mais grand par la qualité du service et des prestations. Intimité garantie, très éloignée des usines que représentent certains établissements. Calme et reposant.
Chambre spacieuse, personnel attentif. Dîner le soir avec des menus variés et des produits d'excellente qualité. Peu adapté à une famille mais parfait pour un couple qui souhaite se coroner.

Port Louis et les attractions touristiques du nord de l'île sont à distances raisonnables.
