Très beau moment passé à l'hôtel Victoria. Nous avons été bien accueillis et pris en charge.
Les chambres situées face à l'océan offrent une vue magnifique. L'hôtel reste très propre et bien entretenu au fil des jours.
Le personnel est sympathique. Mention spéciale pour Arvin, qui s'est occupé de garder notre chambre propre et soignée tout au long du séjour, Marie Michèle notre représentante de Mautourco qui nous a proposés des excursions inoubliables, Bekail, le distributeur de serviettes qui a toujours le mot pour rire et enfin Ravi , qui prend vos commandes autour de la piscine toujours avec le sourire.
Je vous recommande cependant de prendre le all inclusive. Vous pourriez vite vous trouver limités et les alentours de l'hôtel ne proposent pas grand chose.
Les chambres sont un petit peu mal isolées mais restent impeccables. Si vous êtes friand de tennis, prenez vos balles avec, elles ne sont pas prêtées à l'hôtel.
Concernant le buffet, celui ci propose pour la majorité des plats locaux. Il peut paraître manquer de diversité.
Il y a également des restaurants à thème que je vous conseille de réserver dès votre arrivée. J'ai pu en tester 2: le restaurant de fruits de mer, très bon, et le restaurant dit italien, dont on ne retrouve malheureusement pas les plats incontournables italiens.

We didn't get the experience we paid for. First of all, when we asked for tap water at the buffet they gave us someone else's half empty bottle! We were forced to pay 120 rupees or almost 3 dollars us just so that we don't dehydrate. They rest of the drinks were also ridiculously expensive. One day, they served very thin crepes for 150 rupees! Worst thing is they didn't tell us the pancakes were free, instead they asked for our room number and charged us. The staff was also rude and laughed at us when we asked for tap water. The rooms where nice until the vent from the bathroom fell out and left a chunk of the roof on the floor. When we asked for them to clean it there was still bits of wood on the floor. The pool's bathrooms also smelled like pee, like a public bathroom. The buffet was also lacking, the desserts tasted like nothing because of them cutting budged corners. Some of the food was good. The gym was nice, except for them only allowing teens over 16 to work out. The resort also felt like a mall, with people trying to constantly sell you stuff. The pool table was broken and the staff took long to take our dirty plates back and clear tables for us to sit at

Em uma das nossas visitas a praia, o segurança do hotel tentou nos expulsar porque sentamos ao lado da “área reservada aos hóspedes do hotel” sendo que, 1. as praias de Mauritus são PÚBLICAS, 2. não tinha nem gente ocupando as cadeiras de sol que estavam ao lado, 3. Tinha espaço ocioso suficiente para nós e até para mais pessoas se acomodarem (inclusive depois sentaram-se mais pessoas entre nós) 4. os hóspedes não estendem a toalha na areia (local onde estávamos), eles tem cadeira de praia pra isso ???????????? 5. O hotel já ocupa a maior parte da faixa de areia e ainda querem a os demais usuários se limitem a usufruir onde acham um espaço LIVRE de cadeiras de praias nos “espaços reservados para os hóspedes” .
Não é pq os são hóspedes que eles são melhores ou tem mais direitos que nós ????????

Une semaine au victoria ...comment dire que cela passe beaucoup trop vite tellement tout est superbe! Chambre avec vue au top, soigneusement décorée et propre, avec tout ce qu'il faut. Un service d'hôtel de qualité. Repas variés et de qualité avec un personnel sympathique. Bravo aux cuisinier(e)s qui régalent nos papilles tous les jours. Un personnel de tout horizon généreux souriant et agréables avec qui on aime discuter, échanger, et rire. Des petits détails qui changent tout de manière agréable pour passer un séjour inoubliable! J'espère que le personnel est recompensé a sa juste valeur parce qu'ils participent grandement au fait que tout soit impeccable. Au top!! Recommandation sans aucune hésitation.
PS: le seul petit bémol est que les touristes ne prennent pas soin de la plage et parfois c'est un peu sale malheureusement. Manque de poubelles. Et certains transat sont cassé et pas assez de matelas. Cela peut s'améliorer sans souci.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Victoria Beachcomber Hotel, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Séjour de 4 nuits
Senior suite.
Très bel hotel , chambre spacieuse et très agréable.
Hôtel avec clientèles variées. (Famille , couple , tout âge)
Pour s'être balladé dans le nord , l'une des plus belles plages dans le secteur avec mont choisy. ( seul petit bémol un petit passage de sable mêlé aux coraux désagréable pour les pieds à l'entrée à l'eau)
Nous sommes satisfaits des différents restaurants et des services. Nous avons notamment été servi par un grand jeune homme discret , très agréable et très professionnel au sky-pe bar durant tout notre séjour . Hôtel avec clientèles variées. (Famille , couple , tout âge)
Pour s'être balladé dans le nord , l'une des plus belles plages dans le secteur avec mont choisy. ( seul petit bémol un petit passage de sable mêlé aux coraux désagréable pour les pieds à l'entrée à l'eau)
Nous sommes satisfaits des différents restaurants et des services. Nous avons notamment été servi par un grand jeune homme discret , très agréable et très professionnel au sky-pe bar durant tout notre séjour . Ainsi qu'une jeune femme dynamique, souriante et également très professionnelle à l'horizon. Sans oublier une jeune femme à l'entrée de l'hôtel (barrière) qui a été adorable à chaque sortie et entrée de l'enceinte de l'hotel. Abbiamo soggiornato per la nostra luna di miele dal 23 al 30 Settembre, i primi 5 giorni al Victoria Beachcomber gli ultimi 2 al Victoria for 2. La recensione fa riferimento solo ai primi 5 giorni:
Cibo di bassa qualità, appena uscivamo dalla camera ci invadeva un odore pungente di spezie, in spiaggia dove si gradirebbe relax venivamo in continuazione importunati da locali che volevano venderci qualche escursione, la balneazione a meno di essere muniti di scarpette era difficilmente praticabile per la moltitudine di alghe e coralli a riva. La stanza al ground floor pagata anche con un extra rispetto alla standard era vecchia e si sentiva odore di muffa e situata nei pressi dello scarico merci, in tarda notte si sentiva il rumore dello scarico merci. Siamo stati impossibilitati nel prenotare un ristorante al di fuori del Le Superbe e qualsiasi altra esperienza (massaggi, gita in catamarano ecc.) per mancanza di disponibilità già dal primo giorno di arrivo. Avevamo incluso nel soggiorno un'esperienza honeymoon, abbiamo scelto la candlelight dinner ma alla fine ci è stata offerta una semplice cena al ristorante Horizon. Infine le escursioni proposte dal resort ed effettuate non sono state all'altezza del prezzo sostenuto in particolare "Selvaggio Sud".

Stayed at the adults only section for seven days all inclusive during a family wedding, great view and great location. Some staff were friendly some were not, additional training would benefit the resort to emphasize on customer satisfaction and table etiquette. After some meals they would remove the clean cutlery and leave the used ones on the white tablecloths for the next course for an example. Hospitality compared to other countries like Bali is incomparable for the price. Flies are a big problem at the main resort buffet that makes your breakfast experience intolerable. Group bookings at the restaurants are a challenge, always fully booked but there were always tables available while having dinner. Local wine and cocktails were excellent with some of the mixologist bartenders surprising customers with refreshing and unique drinks. Wedding planners were on it and made the wedding day a memorable experience.

Animal lovers, please be aware that this hotel is said to poison stray dogs- more recently a pregnant dog who passed away after giving birth. All her puppies died too, having been poisoned in vitro. My friend stayed there 2 years ago and witnessed another poisoned puppy dying right in front of her. They turned off their reviews on fb. Of course, all those poisoned dogs dying in/around the hotel can be mere coincidences...

Our remaining resorts are also actively engaged in implementing the Beachcomber Animal Welfare Programme, providing designated areas for stray animals when possible or partnering with NGOs. Perfect location for a nice holiday! The room was super spacious and comfortable. Bathroom had even a tub. The room could use a bit more of cleaning but it wasn’t nothing major. The balcony was great for evenings.
Food was plenty and not repetitive. Staff was very kind and hard working.
The beach is kept clean for guests and it is a very relaxed and safe environment for couples, families with children.
The pool was spacious but the chairs around where always taken.
Aside from these small details still a lovely place to enjoy your vacations.

Le personnel est agréable. Le buffet est varié et surtout délicieux. Tout est bon, que ce soit la nourriture internationale ou les plats locaux.
L'hôtel propose gratuitement du snorkeling près de la barrière de corail, de l'initiation au ski nautique... et dispose également d'une très grande piscine.
Nos filles (7 et 10 ans) ont adoré le mini-club.
La formule tout inclus est sympa : surtout les barquettes de fruits frais dégustées sur un transat sur la plage ou au bord de la piscine ainsi que les cocktails le soir face au sublime coucher de soleil !!!

I cannot even write my experience. As soon as I am in a better state, trust that I will write my experience on here which is backed up by hardcore evidence. Absolutely disgusted. Might be a beautiful place, however, they care more about their reputation than your wellbeing. Had to act like everything was fine the rest of my stay, couldn't wait to get out of there. Felt so unsafe and stayed in my room for a day, crying myself into oblivion. The treatment I recieved was the most traumatizing part, worse than the incident that took place. Absolutely appalled at how management treated me regarding a very serious situation. I have read many reviews that guests experienced very similar experiences and appalling treatment from management.
Only good part was the female staff were absolutely kind and incredible and really cared about what happened.
On another note, they charge things you didnt even do or get to your room or lie about the price. I was told a simple bikini wax was R180. They charged me over R1000 for it!!!
