We had a great time on our tour through Port Louis. Not only did our guide lead us from one delicious place to the next, he also told us a lot about the history of Port Louis and Mauritius as well as the food itself. Basically a food tour and a Sightseeing Tour combined. Make sure you skip breakfast.

Tour de Port Louis vraiment sympa !
on a appris plein de choses sur l'histoire de Maurice et on a goûté à tellement de spécialités qu'on aurait jamais oser aller chercher nous même, vraiment sympa merci !
Un petit bémol non negligeable quand même : à la fin du tour, le guide nous a recommandé de ne pas acheter de la vanille au marché de Port Louis et nous a tous emmenés dans une boutique à l'étage du craft market : des gousses de vanille sous vides, soit disant 25 pour 1500 roupies...
quelle surprise en rentrant en France de voir que la moitié sont pourries et qu'il n'y en a que 13-14 max par paquet...
Nous nous sentions en confiance puisque nous avons passé 3h avec ce guide...
Donc je recommande le tour mais clairement pas les commerçants soit disant "moins chers et de meilleure qualité" auprès desquels il nous a fait terminer la visite. Je pense que vos partenariats sont peut être à revoir à ce niveau là

One of the best experiences that we have done in Mauritius. Ashvin was an incredible guide, really prepared about Mauritian history, culture and food. We ate AMAZING street food and we had a really nice walk around the main spots of Port Louis. WE REALLY RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

Mega tolle Tour. Sehr interessante Infos über Mauritius, Port Louis und die creolische Kultur. Unser Guide war extrem nett und sympathisch. Die Tour ist definitiv zu empfehlen, auch für Vegetarier.

Amazing experience.

Our guide Adrian was so friendly and he was spreading his good mood to all of us. He showed us many places in Port Louis and taught us about the history of Mauritius. He is fluent in English and French so that everyone could understand.

We had 4 stations with different food, showing the variety of Mauritius' culture. Vegetarian was available.

Absolutely recommend it !

Our tour took more than 3 hours (advertised time) which meant that we had to leave the tour a bit early for our appointment. It took longer than it should have because it was not ran efficiently, the guide had to explain everything twice once in English and once in French.

Adrien was friendly, and told us some cool information. But the whole thing is just way too long, it could have been done in 1 to 1.5 hours.

Also in the end we were still hungry. It was difficult to gauge how much we should eat at each stop because we didn’t know what was coming.

We were a group of 7 and I don’t think it’s good value for money - we paid £35 per person for the tour.

The guide was a very nice person i enjoyed his personality, but the tour itself was very bland. Information shared was good but i would not call it a food tasting.

Fantastic way to see the capital and learn about the history of the nation. Guide was knowledge and friendly. Good amount of food to try. Quite a tiring walk over 2 1/2 hours so bare that in mind if you have young children or are not able bodied. Highly recommended experience
