WAPALAPAM LA PLACE

Un havre de paix et de tranquillité au milieu d'un quartier bouillonnant. Surprenant de trouver cette oasis de calme, en retrait du passage. La cuisine y est excellente avec du goût. Un régal ????.
Les serveurs sont agréables et gentils. Le cadre est sympa et la note finale très correcte.
Une bonne adresse !!

Worst experience ever i had dining at a restaurant. I usually do not write reviews but i had to write one for this place. The environment was not pleasing at all, many insects, they knew that there were so many moths and i asked if i could order few drinks and starter and 10 mins later, the waiter came back to take the main course order. I found out it was to secure the order since we would have left because of the insects. So, we had to stay there and eat, insects in our beers, rice, on our clothes and i asked the waiter if we could turn off the lights and he said it is the same situation here for everyone.

Finally, we asked to take out all the food and asked for the bill. The food and drinks are freaking expensive, food was okay but beers, wow, the most expensive beers i have had in my life lol. And i do go out often but it was such a waste of money.

I did ask if there was an interior space and the waiter said there wasn't.

I do not recommend anyone to go there. It can be a beautiful place but everything else sucks. You better go to a hotel or even a chic restaurant like Labourdonnais at caudan rather than going there.

Amazing, authentic mauritian food with a very attentive staff. Highly recommend!
