Worst bar service in the Caribbean

Great people , great food at Blu restaurant.

We have stayed here the last 3 years in a row and this time will be our last. The last few years it was ok not great but good enough considering the great location but this time it was just too much. The staff are rude and totally unhelpful. The rooms are totally run down. The beds are hard as concrete the gas for the stove was empty. Every dish in the cupboard was totally dirty and had food stuck in them. Most of the time the water didn’t work at all, we could never take a shower when we needed too. Our room was outside of a ping pong table that was in constant use all the time with kids playing but the net was broken so they just laid a board across the middle of the table. They said we could only get one beach towel per person every TWO days. Then after two days we went to change them and they said they were out. Of course rude about it. The pool is nice but they close it at 6pm So you can only go swimming while the sun is beating down on you and all the kids have nothing to do after 6pm so they migrate to the broken ping pong table and make a huge racket right outside our door until 10 or 11pm..
There were a few gems here and there the girls working the breakfast buffet were nice and the food was decent but overall it was an extremely bad experience. We had the whole family there and booked 4 rooms but will not be back unfortunately.

The location is unbeatable for convenience as you are exactly on a beautiful beach and walking distance to bars and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable but in need of some upgrade. Some of the hotel staff are helpful and friendly but others are in need of hospitality training with regards to administering nonsensical hotel rules. Specifically they make a big deal about sitting in the otherwise empty dining area if you are only going to have a coffee. They would also not allow a friend to sit with you if they walked in with a sandwich from somewhere else.

We had a great time. The food and service,great, Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The grounds of the hotel, perfect for romantic after dinner and breakfast walks. And the best part is u just walk down the steps to store bay. We will stay again in a heartbeat.
