They serve a “bœuf bourguignon” that is actually not one. It’s meant to have red wine and it didn’t have any. I’m French, and this restaurant doesn’t represent French cuisine properly. I can cook a better bourguignon myself while I’m definitely not a cook.
Quelle expérience exceptionnelle, le restaurant est situé dans une petite rue calme et avec vue sur la mer. Le patron "Stefan" fait le service lui-même et met beaucoup de cœur à l'ouvrage. La nourriture est excellente et de haute qualité. Le menu est varié et les prix sont très correctes. J'habite en Rep Dom plusieurs mois par année et c'est un des meilleurs restaurants que j'ai eu l'occasion de tester.
Je recommande 100%...

Delightful, authentic food. Marvelous service, truly great. And the atmosphere is just what we need more of in Cabarete. Be sure to go if you can. Oh and the value is excellent.
After a great day of being on the water this restaurant has amazing service, such good food and many choices in a great atmosphere. It is reasonably priced and the food is absolutely delicious for sure make a stop here!
The host was unfriendly/arrogant: Eventhough we had a reservation he was not willing to give us a table, despite having several free tables prepared for the time we had reserved for. After insisting on getting a table we were finally seated practically next to the restaurant. It was ok but this experience brought to show that the host has no genuine sense of hospitality.
All the food was tasty, especially the bœuf bourguignon. Yet, sadly the onion tart was very soggy and the meat we ordered was super chewy.
So overall, the dining experience was rather disappointing and not worth the price.
Precious little gem off the road, down the path to the beach. The host was most pleasant, smiling, cheerful, full of information and recommendations on all the cuisine. The restaurant is small, not more than a storefront. Only a table or two inside with another 5 or so outside. For dinner a reservation is a must. I have some digestive issues with common ingredients and they accommodated me without hesitation. We'll be back again.
The best restaurant that we visited in Cabarete! Very charming environment and great service. The food was excellent and reasonably price. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt, the best meal we have had in Dominican Republic. For French cuisine lovers, this is the spot. Aside from the excellent food, Stephan the owner is so attentive and provides top notch service to his clientele. I had the steak tartare, it was prepared perfectly. One had the 3 cheese cream penne pasta, which was to die for. The other two had the oven baked steak; a unique dish that was also decadent, with "smashed" style potatoes as a side. Thank you Stephan for such a wonder dining experience, we are now regulars!
Une bonne cuisine traditionnelle comme on ne trouve que très peu à Cabarete. Un service irréprochable et une jolie décoration du restaurant. À ne pas manquer : le steak tartare en entrée et le boeuf bourguignon. La crème caramel en dessert est excellente !
C'est un endroit dans lequel on retourne facilement !!! C'est très bon, les gens sont sympas , on est bien servi. Endroit à ne pas manquer... Conseil d'un connaisseur!!!

Allerdings werden am Ende 28% aufgeschlagen (18% Steuer, 10% Trinkgeld).
Die Rechnung hat und schockiert. Preise sind wie in Deutschland!!
Es steht in der Karte, dass Steuern nicht inklusive sind. Allerdings ist so die Preisgestaltung total undurchsichtig! Man fühlt sich betrogen.
Besser ihr beschreibt eure Preise inklusive Steuern…
