The hotel is located half way between the airport (Le Lamentin) and the center of Fort de France. Often refer as a hostel, it is not that. I was explained that because they don't have a swimming pool and are not beachfront they are referred as a hostel.||Our rooms had 2 confortable beds a desk a full bathroom and a couple of closet. There was one chair and a patio door opening to a balcony.|The shower is a completely open shower. No shower curtain. Probably because it could ve accessed with a wheelchair, but I doubt it. I asked reception if we had a wheelchair accessible rooms and was told they were all like that. Air conditionning provided with individual control (thermo unit).||There is a restaurant on prem called "le bois d'inde". It is cafeteria style with fix hours. Two soft drinks machines available in the lobby. Breakfast is served there, but the the choices are limited and the scrambled eggs served are tough and over cooked. The rest is ok.||The staff, especially Mathieu at reception, give excellent service and info.||Now, the 3 factors: The first one is transportation. If you don't intend to rent a car, transportation is minimal and to me, not at all convenient. Parking on prem is free and some of it interior which is a plus considering the "oven type" temperatures.|The second one is the fact that there is no shower curtain. If you dont mind that...|The 3rd one can be a plus as rue Ernest Hemmingway is really a residential street. It means that youbeither have to walk on hilly streets for a good 20 minutes before you can find either a super market or some cafe or small restaurant.||So since the rest is fine, if you consider renting a car like we did, you should really enjoy the place.||The second one is the lack of shower curtain

Le Centre International de Séjour de Martinique est une bonne option pour une ou deux nuits à Fort-de-France. L’établissement est propre, accueillant et bien organisé, avec un personnel disponible et réactif en cas de besoin.||Les chambres sont simples, fonctionnelles, dans un style type auberge de jeunesse. Le confort est basique, mais suffisant pour une courte étape.||Le petit déjeuner est correct, sans plus, mais le vrai plus, c’est la proximité avec l’aéroport et les axes routiers principaux. Pratique pour une arrivée tardive ou un départ matinal.

Certes basique mais le personnel est très accueillant, c'est propre....
Seul bémol isolé pour vous promener se restaurer en dehors, je conseille la marina à environ 40 min à pied bars et resto

Les prix y sont accessibles, le lieu est propre. Une Auberge de jeunesse qui fonctionne comme un hôtel.Des services du niveau d’un 2 Étoile

La chambre était correcte, pas de rideau de douche et un reassort de produit d'hygiène aurait été apprécié, pour le reste rapport qualité prix en adéquation
