Really great little surf school. We booked onto a group lesson, Maxime was very friendly and made it a great, personal experience. A lovely spot to learn for beginners, regular waves which are not too big, on a beautiful sandy beach. Despite our limited French, Maxime was very helpful and communication was no problem making sure we were following what was going on.
No problem getting hold of Maxime, we messaged via WhatsApp using details on his website. It's a small set-up so he might not answer instantly and I'd recommend arranging lessons/hire before arriving.
Some practical tips: There is plenty of space to park nearby on the seafront road (Rue de Berville). The school is actually located the opposite side of the road than shown on Google Maps, it's underneath the restaurant. Bring some sandals/sliders for the short walk from the school to the beach. Bananier is a small village in the Caribbean; restaurants/shops don't open 24/7 so bring drink and food!

Le cours de surf était cool, mais le prof... A ne pas croiser en dehors de bananier... Antipathique, désagréable... Quel déception ! A croire que son sourire n'est qu'intéresser... A vomir

Un club et un spot très sympa pour faire une initation au surf comme ce fut le cas pour mon amie. Ne vous fier pas à son sable noir qui trouble les eaux environnantes, la température ambiante, la convivialité des moniteurs et le tarif plutôt doux vous convaincront d'y revenir. Exotique et fun.
Super cours sur une super plage, réservé la veille pour le lendemain, allez-y les yeux fermés !
