The food and service was up there as one of the best for years. Sea Bream was cooked to perfection. All the staff were excellent and made you feel like they wanted you there. Highly recommend.

Quand je demande « ski cette année? », la réponse est souvent « on va au Belliou la fumée ? ». Je pense que ça résume bien cet adresse de restauration. C’est un restaurant incontournable de cette station de ski pour le déjeuner en skiant ou le dîner (avec la navette). L’accueil est toujours parfait et les plats très bons.

Seeing the reaction, I would like to add 2 points:
1) Is it polite to ignore people on your terrace for several minutes, even if it’s not busy and several staff members walk by?
2) We were told we could eat there, but we decided to leave because of your rude treatment. So the only reservation is simply a lie.
The “snackbar next door” had way better treatment. I would reconsider calling yourself a restaurant…

So i was looking to lunch somewhere so i chose this place. I was with a group of 9 and i was not busy at all.
We were waiting ages to be seated so we sat down ourselves. And then a waiter came to us and began to scold us for going to sit ourselves. So dont go there they are not nice to their customers

If you’re looking for a restaurant with good food and a welcoming atmosphere, avoid this place at all costs. The staff here clearly think they are above their customers, treating guests with arrogance rather than hospitality.
Also they say that theres always reservations but when we were going to lunch the place was half empty.
Plenty of other great places around—do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere that actually values its guests.

Le lieux est bien placé, le personnel était très amicale et sympa, disponible et serviable. La cuisine est maison et cela change tout par rapport aux autres offres de restaurations que l'on retrouve juste à côté . On a très bien mangé à midi sans rdv. C’est pas donné mais bon on était à l’aise! Recommendé

We are a large group and we send all of our orders 1 week ago just help the restaurant. Obviously 1 week is not enough for the restaurant. We have been waiting for 2 hours and only bread and salad is served. İf you want to be treated in a very bad manner, than go ahead.
Reply to the owner: We have been travelling to Les Arcs for 10 years. We been to La Folie Douce, La Ferme, Savoy and many other retaurants in the area. This is the only place and first time we have been blamed to be misogynist. Instead of blaming our group with such false accusations, you can talk with our 5 French ski instructors who where with us for the last 10 years to learn the truth. I am sure you will be sorry to blame your clients once you learn the real situation but you choose to be arrogant and ignorant.

If you want to be thrown food at your face when you get frustrated about the service you should definitely visit this place. As we are a large group we anticipated that we might end up in a situation like this; so what did we do? We arranged all of our order in an excel sheet and sent it to the contact person. 2 hours and 30 minutes have passed by but guess what, none of the orders were served!! When we confronted the waiter that the served food (after 2.5 hours) were incorrectly made, we encountered the following sentence with an aggressive manner : “You should’ve been more organized”. I think everyone gets how ironic this phrase is :) . Spare your valuable money as this place is so overpriced compared to other restaurants located in Les arcs and visit other valuable restaurants!!

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Belliou la Fumer. Despite following their request to submit our food orders a week in advance, we were made to wait nearly two hours for any food to arrive. Shockingly, we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time, yet the staff kept dismissing us with excuses like "wait 5 more minutes."
When the food finally arrived, the steaks were poorly cooked, and the plates were literally thrown onto the table in a display of utter disrespect. The waitstaff’s attitude was appalling—rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional.
This used to be a place aspiring for Michelin recognition, but it seems they now serve only arrogance and bad manners. Such a shame to see what was once a promising restaurant fall so far. Avoid this place if you value your time, money, and dignity.

Spare at least 2 hours!!! No food is served on timr and as ordered. And if you complain about that be ready to be treated badly.

Agréable moment pour ponctuer notre semaine de vacances. L’endroit est très charmant et authentique, au calme en bord de piste avec une petite rivière et un authentique chalet savoyard. La cuisine est bonne, j’avais choisi les rognons et il faut reconnaître qu’ils étaient bons mais pas en quantité suffisante. Ma femme avait pris le suprême de poulet, très bon aussi mais pas assez cuit. Rien de grave. Le seul bémol c’est le service qui est beaucoup trop long. On aurait pu libérer la table (pour un deuxième service pour eux) bien plus tôt mais chaque fois qu’on avait besoin de quelque chose entre le temps d’avoir un serveur disponible puis de lui faire notre demande et enfin d’être servi, ça prend 10 mn. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir, peut-être un soir pour comparer.
