Another gem of the Beaujolais great dining map, La Table du Brouilly came recommended to me by a distinguished Beaujolais winemaker and, I am proud to add, friend of mine (we will call him Raphael ????). And oh boy, did it not disappoint. The opening salvo in the form of a fluffy succulent brioche with its flavour packed accompanying butter hit the spot. The understated quality of a menu, as often, resides in its apparent simplicity, letting the sheer beauty of the underlying ingredients and the skills of the chef shine through. And shine they did! The ris de veau was in my opinion the crowning moment of an overall lovely meal, accompanied by a great Cote de Py by Beaujolais winemaker extraordinaire Foillard, on that perfectly quaint village square. The owner introduced us to a delightful Argentine red with our desserts, to bring our Sunday lunch to a wonderful close. I shall return for more!

Une excellente adresse ! Nous avons pu choisir notre vin directement dans la cave, avec des conseils très pro et adaptés à nos goûts. Dès l’arrivée, des amuses-bouches délicieux donnent le ton. Tout était de très bonne qualité, du début à la fin. Le repas était parfaitement équilibré, entre notes épicées et touches fumées – subtil et savoureux. Le personnel est vraiment à l’écoute, attentif sans en faire trop. Une vraie belle expérience, que je recommande vivement.

Cuisine délicieuse qui reveille les papilles. Des goûts très raffinés, relevés et très bien assaisonnés. Des très bons vins Beaujolais et Chiliens. On se régale et très belle decouverte. Je recommande.

It is a very nice place for dinner in a cozy little village in the heart og Beaujolais. Great selection of local wine and wine from Chile. Lots of creativity in the three course meal we had. Highly recommended❤️
