I really wanted to like this hotel, especially after staying at another OKKO in Paris. My overall experience at the other was much better. First, both me and my partner awoke the morning of our second night covered in itchy bites, and although the hotel didn't find any blood they were almost certainly bed bugs. While the hotel offered to move our room, both the room we moved from and the new one had significant black mold in the bathroom. The room otherwise is great, and the lounge area with complimentary snacks and water is lovely. Unfortunately there isn't a mini fridge in the room. If you get a more typical experience this is a decent value option, but the attempts to gaslight us about our miserable bite experience was disappointing from a chain posing as a luxury brand. Never was any form of compensation even suggested by the hotel.

Hôtel design. Les chambres sont pas mal mais je n'aime pas la salle de bain ajouré. Ca manque d intimité.
Sinon le service est top. Tout le monde est au petit soin, et le coin salon est tres accueillant.

Personnels très sympathique, attentionnés et toujours disponible. Chambre très propre et gros plus sur l’apéritif de fin de journée.
Les prix peuvent être élevés si supplément pour un balcon.

We had an awesome experience here! The location is awesome — walkable to many parts of Lyon and immediately on the riverside. We had a fourth floor room overlooking the city which provided a great view. The staff was also accommodating and helpful. The rooms are on the smaller size but overall the hotel
offers great value. We’d absolutely stay again!

Cela fait plus de 11 ans que je voyage dans le cadre de mon travail, et je dois dire que j’ai rarement vu une prestation d’une telle qualité !
Le personnel est réellement aux petits soins, toujours disponible, dynamique, agréable, arrangeant et très attentif aux besoins des clients.

J’y ai séjourné trois nuits et tout a été absolument parfait, du petit déjeuner au déjeuner.
Un vrai plus : on peut profiter librement toute la journée de snacking, fruits, boissons, café, etc. — un vrai confort.

Les chambres sont confortables, la literie de très bonne qualité.
S’il ne manquait qu’une chose, ce serait un parking pour en faire, sans hésitation, le meilleur hôtel de la région.

Un grand merci à toute l’équipe, c’était vraiment super ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter si je repasse dans la région ????

Début 2025 l’hôtel OKKO a modifié ses tarifications selon le positionnement de ses chambres au sein de l'hôtel. L’ignorant j’avais réservé sur booking.com une chambre habituelle spécifiant dans mes attentes souhaiter une chambre en hauteur donnant sur le Rhône pour ce séjour de 10 nuitées. L'hôtel m’a prévenu que ce ne serait pas possible avec une chambre standard et nous avons convenu d’un upgrade en chambre premium des 3 derniers étages avec vue sur le Rhône comme lors de mes derniers séjours moyennant un supplément au check in. Le plus inattendu est qu’on m’a donné la chambre 602 spacieuse en angle de l’hôtel et je peux dire que c’était une premium +++ dont je remercie l’hôtel. Au-delà de cette anecdote, la chaîne OKKO reste fidèle à son concept original de chambres rationnelles avec un lounge en rez-de-chaussée spacieux agréable où on peut consommer sans supplément de prix des snackings de qualité à tout moment, voire un « aperitivo » en fin d'après-midi. C’est bien la première fois que je vois qu’on offre des cerises dans un hôtel de ce standing ! Insonorisation, literie, et sanitaires sont irréprochables. On apprécie aussi l'emplacement de l'hôtel à quelques minutes de la Presqu'île via la passerelle du collège hors de l’agitation de la ville. Le staff est accueillant et particulièrement courtois. Much to praise about this hotel: centrally located and within walking distance of good transport links, monuments and excellent places to eat.||Hotel itself is located in the old préfecture so lovely building. Room a very good size, comfortable bed and clean. Bathroom a bit on the small side but adequate and clean.||Public areas very nice with access to water fountains. Twenty-four hour access to coffee/tea making facilities and water as well as light snacks.||Staff very helpful both at reception and in the breakfast bar.

My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. SO walkable to everything, and being right on the Rhone is a dream. Free appertivo every day is a great addition! I wish more hotels did this.

Fantastic stay in this wonderful hotel. Theres nothing more i can say but be v impressed by this hotel. Everything is top. Great location, wonderfully friendly staff and a clear eye for detail from the design of the room to the well stocked pantry. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we checked in and this a great example of how far customer service can bring you. My sincere compliments to the Management and service staff of the hotel, you have a lifelong customer here. A job well done!

Awesome hotel. Air conditioning worked well which was needed with the heat in June. We had a balcony room and it was absolutely stunning. Free snacks and drinks a real bonus. Late check out was great! Bed was super comfortable and the linen was nice. Staff were lovely. Fantastic location. 10/10

Spacious rooms and very kind service. Unfortunately both rooms we got were flooded by the shower insulation/inclination and the water pressure was also not enough. Cleaning Service between days was also disappointing.

Perfect hotel for weekend stay in calm area but super close to all the sights, clean room with high ceiling and french balcony, very friendly and helpful service. Will book this again.

An incredible location, right on the Lafayette bridge which connects each of the city's sections, very walkable!
We booked a second story balcony room, it had luxurious high ceilings with double french windows that actually open, which was great for the nights where A/C wasn't needed (the A/C worked great otherwise, and the windows are completely soundproof).
The view from the balcony was amazing, overlooking the Rhone and the life below.
I agree with other reviews that mention the bathrooms being less than ideal - they are clearly designed for form over function, with the shower leaking into the room and toilet/sink area.
The club zone is pleasant, spacious, and it was nice to pop in for some fruit and cold water after a walk on a hot day.

If I could give this hotel a 3.5 stars I would.
Pros: location is great, staff was wonderfully friendly and attentive. Every request we had was catered to and they kept the rooms very clean.

Cons: giving 3 stars because the experience of actually staying in the room was average. It was a nice big room, but they made the bathroom so uncomfortably small and I’m not sure why. They had so much space to make the bathroom bigger but the counter is literally in your face when you’re trying to use the toilet and water leaks everywhere when you use the shower. Also the AC did not work well at all so if you enjoy sweating all night this is your place.

Cet hôtel a été une belle découverte. Son emplacement près du centre historique en fait un atout. Par ailleurs, l’équipe est accueillante et a l’écoute. L’apéritivo est un moment agréable. Enfin, la literie est vraiment top. Je reviendrai probablement.

L'emplacement de l'établissement permet de se déplacer au centre. La gare est également proche.
La chambre était joliment décorées et pratique même si la salle de bain était un peu petite.
Le service est top et on se sent comme à la maison.

I had an amazing experience at Okko hotels Lyon, the staff really go above and beyond to help you and are super friendly. The hotel is nice, new and clean and you get free snacks and beverages, would highly recommend!
