Old Lyonnais classics such as pâté and quennelle are well represented here. Wine is also relatively inexpensive, and there is also beer to accompany the food on hot days.

Highly recommended.

Experience the Lyonnaise bistro with the fresh ingredients of the summer season, the campagne sourdough and a few glasses of beaujolais. The appetizers were fantastic, the mains including the lamb and skate wing were great, both on the heavier side. I wish I had a bigger stomach to wipe my plate with the bread. Great atmosphere and hospitality. Eat, drink and laugh = the Lyon spirit. Thank you for the great evening.

We came for the typical « bouchon » experience, and we definitely got it! The salade lyonnais was good, the artichoke salad was a bit bland, needed salt and acid. We both had the quenelle and it was good, very much a typical lyonnais dish, and one we had never had before. Very rich and could have been a bit brighter but maybe that’s the way it is supposed to be. Great service. We were on the terrace, and two flies decided to take a swim in my partner’s wine. We asked for a new glass, expecting to get just the glass itself (we ordered a carafe of wine), but they came out with a full glass of wine. Handled very appropriately! I found a staple in my quenelle, the server flagged it to the chef, who passed on his apologies and comped a dessert. Again, handled very appropriately. The highlight was the desserts, a clafoutis and a baba au rhum. Perfect! In all, a good bouchon experience, but needs to be tweaked a bit to really make the flavours sing, as it was it was good, but a bit lacklustre.

Ce pourrait être la bonne adresse ou l’on mange bien dans cette rue calme . Table en terrasse, couverts en argent et menu du midi au bon prix . Service en apprentissage ce n’est pas le souci et cela est compréhensible vu la jeunesse du personnel . Mais il manque un accueil et une ambiance d’équipe ( enfin c’est ce qu’il me semble) On s’est bien ennuyé et en partant on s’est aperçu qu’on aurait été mieux en cuisine où semblait régner une vraie ambiance d’équipe. Enfin j’aurai préféré qu’on me demande mon avis sur place plutôt que par mail … J’aurai commencé par dire que nous avons très bien mangé .

Je suis passé ici au détour d’un petit séjour dans la ville des lumières, et ai été ravis de tomber sur ce merveilleux restaurant.

L’ambiance est chaleureuse, les murs sont estimables et le serveur affable, je n’ai rien à demander de plus !
La cuisine est fine: les produits sont de qualités, les choix d’accompagnement fastueux et leurs présentation appétissante. Les quantités sont correct pour les prix.
Sans oublier une excellente carte des vins, qui raviveras nombreux amateurs.
