Ex-convento ed ex-ospedale, che sorge sulle carceri dove nel 177 morì Potino, il primo vescovo di Lione. La visita alla cripta è guidata, mentre quella nelle sale culturali è libera. Vi si tratta della Chiesa dalle origini alla Controriforma, con supporti multimediali.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. But there is little of historical interest here and the entrance fees are not justified. Time would be better spent in the free Roman ruins area or the excellent museum of Roman artifacts.

Un centre culturel intéressant avec trois lieux-phares (le cachot de Saint-Pothain, les mosaïques du même style que celles de Fourvière, la Cène de Janmot) et une histoire intéressante expliquée par le personnel de l'accueil, en plus d'un parcours sur le christianisme à Lyon et dans le monde. Parfois les salles semblent vides ou l'installation est défaillante, comme ces cristaux où on lit difficilement la lettre des martyrs. Le parcours sur le christianisme pourra sembler assez scolaire pour les chrétiens et le prix me semble un peu trop élevé.
