Food is good, not impressive. Staff is friendly, but not attentive. Seems to be a restaurant mainly for tourists.

I was suggested this place by a coworker. I am a picky eater, and I struggled through the menu. The staff were more than exceptional and worked with me to pick out food/drink option. The food was FANTASTIC and the service made it that much better. Merci!

Daniel & Denise was a meal that we were looking forward to for a long time and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant has a charming traditional interior with tables close to each other. You can either order from their set menu or a la carte and we opted for one of each. We got the quenelle, pate en croute, bone marrow with snails, Lyonnaise salmon salad, and stuffed poultry.
The quenelle is the famous dish and it didn't disappoint. It tasted almost like a fish ball, with the soft and spongy texture, and the sauce was very flavorful and paired well. The pate en croute was delicious, bone marrow was great, and the stuffed poultry was also great. Everything is definitely on the hearty side and you will definitely leave satisfied. Our server (Zara) was also very friendly and sweet to our young daughter.

Délicieux, rien à dire. Un peu bruyant et il faisait très chaud cependant, mais pas de quoi ruiner le repas.
Nous mangions si bien en France depuis 3 semaines ! La veille d’ailleurs dans un Bouchon lyonnais délicieux !
La réputation de Daniel & Denise St-Jean me s’explique pas. Nous avons retourné les œufs Meurette cuits durs (!) avec les excuses du chef, la sauce étant un sirop de caramel mauvais au goût.
Les viandes tres ordinaires et les sauces acidulées et mal réalisées. Dessert sucré, vin rouge fade …
Bref, l’un de nos moins bonnes expériences de tout le voyage, à Paris, en Alsace et en Bourgogne !
