Food is good depending on the dish ordered
Beef Chuck and scalloped potatoes excellent, Lyonnaise salad excellent, chocolate dessert and praline pie excellent. Coq Au vin, was terrible. Stay clear.

The saving grace among a sea of tourist traps in that area of Lyon. Delicious, hearty, and honest dishes with a touch of refinement. The menu offers both a la carte dishes and set courses, as well as local specialties or the more generic french dishes, and all very reasonably priced.
While very busy, service was attentive and professional. They seamlessly welcomed us and accommodated our sitting request even though we showed up without a reservation at a busy lunch.
The facilities are in a traditional and cozy old building but tastefully decorated with a modern touch.

Went to this place last night after being recommended it by a couple of locals. Safe to say, we were very impressed! The atmosphere was nice and cosy, and the service was great. The food was amazing and very affordable. We had the beef with mushroom sauce, and the bacon ravioli. Even though both were phenomenal, I personally would recommend the beef - I’m still dreaming about that sauce!!
