Because of the small size of elevator, it can be difficult if you have many bagages. Service is good and location is at the center of island.

Un excellent emplacement le centre de Lyon . Accès facile. Excellent service. Très bien accueilli. La chambre 401 donne sur la rue. Excellent hygiène. Sans faute franchement.

Le seul point positif de cet mauvais hôtel est son emplacement - au centre Lyon, à côté de place des Jacobins et place bellecour.

Je suis arrivé avec trois valises, et découvert que l’ascenseur se trouve deux volées d’escaliers au-dessus de l’entrée????
Le directeur de l'hôtel était très désagréable.
En plus, les chambres sont très vétustes, et les couvertures sont vieilles et inconfortables.

Two star hotel is about right. The location is great if you want to be right in the heart of Lyon - but that's about all that is great here. Rooms are dirty-looking for all the old stains on the rug, peeling paint, and old curtains (definitely no nice, vibrant curtains from the photos in our room). Breakfast was a super sad affair - they will charge you 9 euros a person to give you a little cup of juice, coffee or tea, a few little packs of jam and honey, a tiny cup of yogurt, and a basket with one chocolate pastry, one croissant, and a slice of baguette. For 9 euros, I would have expected a bit more protein than that.

I also did not like that every time you go out, you have to leave the key with the receptionist. Why? Who knows? If they are afraid of people making copies of the key for instance, maybe it's about time they update to key cards, as it is very awkward and intrusive to have to interact with staff everytime you want to come and go.
