Accueil parfait. Merci au concierge pour la réservation du bouchon le soir de notre arrivée. Personnel d'étage parfait. Cocktail parfait et mixologue très agréable et disponible pour nous parler des cocktails. Petit déjeuner parfait et équipe du petit-déjeuner parfaite ???? : merci pour vos conseils de visite de la ville !

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. The rooms although small were beautifully decorated and clean. The person at the reception desk who checked us in was helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good with several options and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Service digne du 5 étoiles mais cela s'arrête là. L'état des chambres est plus que déplorable, on se croirait dans un vulgaire formule1. Les meubles sont en piteux état, on nous a changé de chambre au vu de la vétusté de la suite, mais guère mieux. Ca ne vaut pas les tarifs ni les étoiles. Une énorme rénovation est nécessaire....certes cela est soit disant prévu en début d'année prochaine. Nous sommes vraiment déçus de cet hôtel.
Ne pas se fier aux belles photos du site , il doit y en avoir qu'une comme ça dans l'hôtel...pour les photos.

The hotel is centrally located with ready access to Metro making all points in Lyon reachable. Short walk to old town and good restaurants and shopping area. The hotel is nicely decorated. Washrooms could use some updating. Breakfast was excellent, great choices. They could improve their system when you order from the chef at breakfast; first morning our order went to another table.

The hotel has a very good location in Lyon and we experienced a dedicated staff who took good care of us. The hotel needs some renovation, but this is compensated by the dedicated staff.

This hotel was perfect for us. Nice room with view of the square. Walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see in Lyon. Super service and restaurant recommendations from the concierge. Fantastic dinner at l’institut. Nice breakfast. Very wellcoming staff at the reception.

Wij komen doen dit hotel sedert verschillende jaren aan op onze doorreis naar het zuiden. Telkens zijn wij opnieuw gecharmeerd door de vriendelijkheid en hulpbereidheid V. het personeel. De kamers zijn zeer verzorgd en het ontbijt is een echte aanrader.

There is a small parking spot just outside the hotel, where we could park the car temporarily and unload our luggage. We received a warm welcome at reception and were guided to our room by the friendly concierge. The circular room with a panoramic view offered plenty of space. Nevertheless, the room showed many signs of neglect – hole in the carpet, stains and marks on the paintwork and walls, sideboards with hanging doors and chipped veneer, dirty windows and so on. Even the bathroom needed a decent make-over to join the modern world. It had hardly any surface space for personal toiletries. The toilet took 3 to 4 flushes to actually work properly. Such a shame and we can only hope, that the room gets renovated very soon. The breakfast was good, although the long rectangular plates were so impractical, so that there was not much room left for egg dishes or tea or coffee on the small tables. The bar was fun with some great cocktails. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Being in the centre of town, the location is great.

Freundlicher und sehr aufmerksamer Service, von Rezeption über Concierge/Valet hin zu Barkeeper und Kellnern im Frühstücksraum. Stilvolle Einrichtung und Dekoration. Wie in vielen Hotels aus dieser Zeit sind die Zimmer eher klein, aber das Badezimmer war großzügig. Valet Parking hat prima funktioniert. Und natürlich ein weiteres Plus: Das Restaurant L'Institut Bocuse direkt im Haus!

Very nice hotel with a great location close to the old town and city center.
The room was fine, but there was no door or screen for the shower in the bathroom, making it impossible to shower without getting the entire room wet.
The staff were really helpful and attentive. Breakfast offered a good selection of options, including eggs made to order. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly, but sometimes a little too eager to help — they should give guests a moment to settle in and consider their options.

A faultless stay, owed largely to the staff who were consistently helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were so happy with our choice having looked at lots of options

Our courtyard room (view shown in picture) is large and tastefully decorated. Although some of the furniture is slightly tired looking, it's still pleasing. It's quiet inside the room, even though the hotel is quite fully booked. The moment you enter the hotel, you're greeted and serviced by an enthusiastic crew, which makes you feel welcomed. The crew is knowledgeable and the concierge is very helpful with our restaurant reservations. Location is EXCELLENT, with great public transportation, shops, eateries nearby. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Die Lage und das Frühstück, inklusive Service wie z.B. Parken haben mich voll überzeugt. Der allgemeine Zustand der des Zimmers hat mich enttäuscht. (Bad mit defekten Fliesen, Türen und Rahmen mit abgestoßenen Kanten und fehlender Farbe) Für die gebuchten drei Personen standen im Zimmer nur 2 Tassen, Bademäntel und Latschen zur Verfügung.
Die Betten mit den Bezügen und die Handtuchausstattung waren aber sehr gut!
Der Frühstücksraum war sehr klein. Da bieten 4 Sterne Mercure Hotels ein deutlich besseren Angebot. Mir hat das klassische frische Baguette und ein etwas breiteres Angebot an Wurst und Käse (kein Comté) gefehlt. Sogar in Lyon kann man eine deutlich besseren Espresso finden und trinken. (z.B. Grand Hôtel-Dieu) An dem "Porzellangemälde" an unserem Frühstücksplatz latz hat auch schon eine Ecke gefehlt.
Die Zeit in Lyon war trotzdem toll, aber für den nächsten Besuch werde ich mit maximal ein anderes Hotel aus der Accor Familie aussuchen.

2 belles chambres communiquantes tres spacieuses; excellente litterie; calme; vue sur la place bellecour. Pkg public à 200m. Bon rapport qualité prix grâce à l offre famille de la 2ème chambre à 50%

Quand on fait compte de notre nuit au personnel, ils s’en « foutent » pour parler vulgairement, en aucun cas cet hôtel n’est digne d’un 5 étoiles.
J’ai toute les photos qui le prouvent, et apparemment je ne suis pas le seul dans ce cas. Aucun geste commercial, rien…et ils ont le culot de demander la taxe de séjour en plus.
A FUIR !!!
