A very pleasant surprise. The restaurant is by the river Saône and surrounded by trees. Not far from major roads but sufficiently remote that it's a quiet spot. The building is picturesque and the garden is charming. Access to The restaurant could be improved as it's not immediately clear where you are supposed to park. There is a general feeling that the first impression you get of the building doesn't quite do justice to the quality of the food. Which is absolutely excellent. The restaurant offers affordable lunch options but is significantly more expensive in the evening. Yet this is justified by the quality of the food.
We did wait a little long for desserts and the staff, although competent appeared slightly overwhelmed by the influx of customers who arrived mostly an hour after we did, which was eight in the evening.
All in all it's definitely worth a visit and even though we chose this restaurant because it wasn't far from the hotel we were staying at, it's actually a place worth driving to for its own sake.
