We had one dinner at the restaurant which was quite nice. The two young waiters did their best. The auberge just down the road is also excellent and is less expensive. Our breakfast was fine but 19 Euros we found to be somewhat overpriced for what we had. I would not hesitate to come back and hope that the few wrinkles have been worked out.
The hotel and restaurant are housed in a beautifully restored farmhouse, part of the historic castle. The blend of modern elegance with deep respect for history creates a unique atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the true highlight is the restaurant—offering a reasonably priced 4- or 5-course dinner, a nice selection of local and regional wines, all served by a welcoming staff.
For travelers heading south along the A7, the hotel offers a secure car park with ample EV charging points—a thoughtful addition for modern convenience.
The owners shared that they will soon begin renovating the château itself. We can't wait to return and experience its full transformation!
