HÔTEL SERRE-PALAS ^{* *}

Ottimo albergo centrale, con camere ampie e pulite. Accoglienza e proprietari gentilissimi e professionali. Colazione con prodotti freschi, dolci e salati.
Super consigliato.

Je tenais à vous laisser un avis car nous avons vraiment etait plus que bien reçu dans votre hôtel ! La chambre etait super, rien à reprocher . Vous avez vraiment été sympathique et très accueillant. Le rapport qualité/prix est exceptionnel et c’est très Facile d’accès pour se stationner,
Un petit mot sur le petit déjeuner, super gourmand et copieux encore merci

Nous avons séjournée début Juillet 2025 et nous avons été content sur tous les plans.

Our dissatisfaction started on the first day when I spoke to the hotel about our bedrooms/bathrooms being cold and the radiators also being cold.  They seemed uninterested and the response I got was, “no, our heating system cannot be changed”.  They did not offer any solutions to the room warmth issue; it was only when the travel company intervened that the hotel did anything.  We were unable to dry any wet ski clothes, the hotels solution was, “if you bring down all your wet clothes to reception, we’ll dry them”.  This is the first time in 30 years of skiing in the alps that we’ve been unable to dry things in the room, and quite frankly don’t want to be carrying all our clothes down to reception. We felt like we were staying in a Youth Hostel rather than a hotel, for all the following reasons, not an experience I would expect or have ever experienced in the French Alps.  The Wi-Fi was unusable, so why offer as a benefit, unbelievable in 2025.  We were told we must place our shoes on a special matt as to not damage the carpet.  The TV controller could not be used properly as it was chained to the wall! Signs in the room saying that you were not allowed to eat and drink on the bed (so, if you want a cup of tea you must stand up until its drunk!).  My wife was told off for eating an apple in reception (on what planet does that happen!).  During the day, all our plugs in the room were unplugged by the cleaner, so when we charged things during the day ready for the evening, they were not charged! Overall, the hotel experience was dreadful.  We felt watched, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. The hotel, whilst clean, is old and tired.

There is only one way I can describe this hotel. WOW. What a hotel. Amazing service. Rooms get thoroughly cleaned every day. Staff is extremely kind and caring. Dont get me started on the breakfast. Absolutely amazing, freshly baked bread and croissants. Its not big but a very wide variety of choices going from Milk with cornflakes, to all sorts of cheeses, to cookies and you Name it, they probably have it. Skilockers are very secure. All in all, just amazing.
