Great hotel, this is our 3rd year staying there. Service was very friendly and efficient on the whole and we felt very welcomed. Only hiccup was very slow service in the bar which could easily be improved.
Restaurant is fabulous for breakfast - brilliant buffet plus a la carte options. However it didn’t work as well for dinner. There are 3 different dining rooms, some with better ambiance than others, however there didn’t appear to be any choice in which room you were sat. When we first stayed here 3 years ago, the "best" dining room was used as a separate restaurant (Amethyst) witb a different menu and we preferred having that available as an alternative option. Perhaps a feature of the apparent move towards hosting more British package holidaymakers than independent visitors? The half board dinner felt a bit limited - we would have preferred an alternative casual option rather than the a 5 course menu each day. The bar food was good but sadly not included in half board. Also the fondue was very disappointing - tasted more like a runny béchamel sauce than proper cheese. All these things are easily fixable so hopefully management will take note.
All that said, this is a fantastic hotel - really high quality and good value for money. Swimming pool/spa area is lovely although better suited to adults than children (fine by us!). The location is brilliant - literally steps from the gondola - and the boot room staff are fabulous, handing us our skis each morning - real 5* service.
We will almost certainly return, but are just hoping that the few niggles will be addressed.

Fantastic stay!
Enjoyed a full week in February 2025, as a family with a young baby.
Everything was top notch: large and modern rooms, facilities, location, staff, breakfast and food in the evening at their restaurant.
Will definitely return in the future.
