Un petit musée très sympathique sur une "star" de la littérature française

La maison du grand père de Stendhal qui y passa une partie de son enfance. La terrasse donne sur le jardin de Ville. Visite courte 4 ou 5 pièces mais vous ressortez avec l'envie de vous replonger dans le Rouge et le Noir ou la vie de Henri Brulard.

Curioso lugar, sobre todo para los amantes de Stendhal por el contenido sentimental de imaginar allí al autor de La Cartuja de Parma o Rojo y Negro. Decepciona un poquito el tamaño, pero se compensa, como digo, por lo curioso que resulta.
A very nice place to learn about Stendhal as a living human being and as a writer. I had not read Stendhal and knew nothing about his personal life. Yet I found the museum interesting and inspiring. Both the entrance and the audioguide are free - you just have to tell the receptionist where you come from.
The museum is located deep inside an old building, which is also an opportunity to learn a bit about local architecture - the building's inner yard is very similar to those in old Lyon.
