Un accueil chaleureux, une belle propriété . Une petite chambre à la déco soignée . chambre humide , condensation importante le matin , nous avons dû fermer nos valises pour que le linge ne prenne pas l’humidité . Dommage , au petit déjeuner de trouver des produits Lidl . Nous nous attendions , dans un hôtel familial , à trouver des produits du terroir .

Un hotel absolument charmant et idyllique, dans la tradition des "boutique hotel". Un emplacement tres pratique et facile d'acces (5 minutes a pied de la gare de Bourgoin et autoroute) a mi-chemin entre Lyon et Grenoble. Surtout, une residence historique de caractere, charmante , dans un ecrin de verdure et de fleurs, disposant de tout confort, decoree avec un superbe gout, chaque chambre disposant de tout et amenagee et decoree de forme differente, une belle piscine, veranda et patio, etc, ... Surtout, un accueil personnalise et une attention particuliere a tout besoin tout au long du sejour par les proprietaires. Un lieu magique ou l'on se sent "comme chez soi" dans un cadre idyllique. A decouvrir et renouveler!

When we arrived, the proprietor told us the room we had booked (large room next to the pool) had been allocated to other guests. We were given a small room on the second floor (no elevator) instead. (Why hadn't we been informed prior to our arrival? No answer.) During our stay the hotel was untidy. Guests using the pool had left their clothed & towels all over the place. There was food stored in the corridors. The landing stairs were covered in linoleum. There was a hole in the floor of ourbathroom. The breakfast room was turned into a treatment room after breakfast (the Thai Paralympic team was staying here). There was a very limited bar service, and this was closed after 8 p.m. The breakfast was entirely Thai, no eggs, bacon, bread, butter or jam. The facilities did not look at all like the photos on the hotel's web site. The hotel had no restaurant, and the restaurant recommended by the proprietor was a long walk away in a not very attractive art of Bourgoin. |We had stopped here on the way to Italy, and were planning on staying here again on the return trip with our son's & daughter's families. We didn't!
