Malheureusement, je suis repartie déçue car j’avais précisé lors de la réservation qu’il s’agissait de l’anniversaire de mon conjoint, mais aucune attention particulière n’a été portée à son dessert... Malgré les excuses du serveur suite à ma remarque, aucun geste n’a été proposée, ce qui a un peu gâché mon expérience.
Our starters were nice and light/refreshing.
Sadly, we treated ourselves to a sharing steak which wasn’t what we thought it would be. It was very chewy, we couldn’t eat it. I think it was also cooked in celeriac, but I cannot confirm this. It had a very odd taste and didn’t state it was cooked this way when we ordered. The waiters did offer us an alternative when they realised we couldn’t eat it which was kind of them, not that we accepted. Appreciate this may be the way it’s cooked in France and locals would enjoy it. Not for us though. It wasn’t the best start to our trip here but hopefully it will improve.
