CENTRE AQUATIQUE SALLANCHES MONT-BLANC

Une augmentation de 20% sur mes entrées d'une semaine à l'autre justifiée par plus de personnel pour les vacances. Je suis une mère célibataire qui emmène ses enfants chaque semaine. Mais là je ne peux plus. Comme d'habitude le choix est fait de plomber les locaux pour les touristes et les centres de loisirs qui ont d'ailleurs leur propre encadrement. Écoeurant.

Reading the often negative comments about dirty floors etc, we were extremely surprised to find this to be one of the absolute cleanest swimming pools we have ever seen!

You have to take off shoes and socks to wade through shallow water before reaching the changing rooms. The lockers are easy (with code, no annoying wristband-keys). Then mandatory showers and another foot-wading. The pools, no surprise, are spotless.

The ladies at the front are friendly, but the life guards do indeed appear a bit apathic, so keep an eye on your own kids. And there are people having fun, some with balls, as there are in every pool. Nothing noteworthy.

The price is very reasonable, there is a fun outside wet area for (little) kids and a good lawn for sun lovers (can't beat that view!). Inside is a warm kiddy pool, with bubbles here and there. An area for babies, a regular temperature pool and a big pool with lanes for swimming laps. There are indeed sometimes lessons in progress, in a corner of the big pool. Didn't bother anyone. Only thing lacking are maybe some more fun things, like a big slide or a track with current.

All in all, this is a very good pool! Maybe new management took over since all the previous negative comments??

HOWEVER, one big WARNING for non-french visitors: men (and boys) can only wear tight swimwear!
That is indeed absolutely stupid, and has no actual practical reason whatsoever (everybody says hygiene, but nobody knows exactly why), but it's a standard rule in every swimming pool in France. They must be very weird swimmers... or really like tight things.
Anyway, simply buy some tight swim shorts (only 3-5 euros in the Carrefour a little up the road, they have easy fitting ones that are sold in a sachet for some reason), ignore how you look and have a nice swim!

Excellent rapport qualité/prix ! Le centre est très propre et permet de se ressourcer en profitant d’une superbe vue sur le massif du Mont-Blanc !

Ik snap de slechte reviews eigenlijk niet zo goed. Ik twijfelde om te gaan door de reviews maar ik ben blij dat ik toch ben geweest. Het sanitair en het zwembad is schoon. Je hebt 3 zwembaden en 1 kinderbadje. En buiten heb je nog een glijbaan en een cafetaria. De mevrouw van het café is super aardig en behulpzaam. We hebben genoten en als je even wilt afkoelen raad ik het zeker aan! Entree is goedkoop maar let op, er zijn wel regels rondom zwemkleding voor mannen. Wij waren ons daar niet van bewust maar je kan daar de juiste zwembroek kopen.

Part où commencé le prix de l'entrée pour une piscine froide en courant d'air on demande à fermé la porte de l'extérieur du bassin des petits il tire la tête le snack personnelle très gentil en revanche les prix 5€ un pauvre paquet de frite congelé 8€ le panini 1er prix 4€ la glace je porté un short noir en matière maillots il me dit que c'est interdit à l'intérieur san soucis je le retire se qui et normal en revanche quelque heures après un groupe de jeunes entre une fille avec t-shirt robe sa copine short en jeans les maître nageurs les on laissé je précise qu'il m'a dit que les vêtements sont interdit dans toute l'intérieur de la piscine également autour des bassin
Piscine peu agréable j'ai dépenser 50€ pas un sourire les courant d'airs son juste insupportable
