This is truly an excellent family run hotel. Caroline and Eric are superb hosts and make sure your stay is comfortable. Breakfast provides a good start for the day and they also provide evening dinner either inside or on a nice summer evening in the garden. The rooms are well organised and includes a small and well supplied kitchenette. The garden and pool are kept very clean and tidy. A good underground car park with EV charging facilities.

Staying at Hotel La Bergerie was a delight. As a solo traveler I couldn’t have felt more at home. From the moment I walked|In the door I felt at ease, where the owners, staff and fellow guests were all so very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It’s so|central to Morzine’s bars and restaurants yet feels like a retreat and the garden and pool so beautiful. Could not recommend enough!

We had the most wonderful time at La Bergerie on a trip with kids and grandmother! Eric and Caroline (and Delphine) welcome you and make you feel at home immediately. They are so warm and epitomize natural hospitality. The hotel itself is full of thoughtful touches, and is kid-friendly without sacrificing adult comfort. Our kids bounced from the pool to trampoline and back, with their reserves of energy somehow still intact after the glorious stunning hikes we went on while in Morzine. We enjoyed the breakfast and they organized a delightful dinner for us at the hotel - again complete with thoughtful and adorable touches for the kids. My kids loved counting all the hearts in our room and in the hotel (second only to the sheep motif) - clearly this hotel is a labor of love and you can feel that as a guest. If you are anything like us, will be planning your next visit back before you leave. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!!

The interior design is sophisticated yet cozy, and the atmosphere is lively yet relaxed – making it the perfect place to unwind. Quel bonheur de revenir dans ce lieu d’exception ! Caroline et Éric sont aux petits soins pour que chaque instant soit inoubliable, et c’est une réussite. L’accueil et le service dépassent largement les 4 étoiles : tout est pensé pour le bien-être des hôtes.||L’équipe est formidable, toujours souriante et attentionnée. Les chambres sont parfaitement équipées, le cadre est magnifique, le petit déjeuner copieux et les repas variés et savoureux. Mais au-delà de tout cela, La Bergerie a une âme. L’ambiance y est unique, on s’y sent comme à la maison, dans une atmosphère chaleureuse et conviviale.||Un vrai plus pour les familles : les enfants sont chouchoutés du début à la fin et se retrouvent chaque soir à la Table des Enfants, pendant que les parents profitent d’un apéritif en toute sérénité. De belles rencontres, des moments de partage… un séjour inoubliable.||Merci à toute l’équipe et à très bientôt !

We have just returned from our second stay at Hotel La Bergerie and we can highly recommend it. The location is absolutely brilliant - next door to a ski rental shop (which offers a discount to Bergerie guests); super close to the Pleney lift, as well as transport to Super Morzine / Avoriaz; and right in the centre of Morzine so you can walk to the restaurants and shops in moments. Our room was perfect for a family of four, with a little kitchenette and beautiful balcony. The kids loved the playroom and swimming pool, and we all appreciated the friendly, relaxed, family feel. Eric and Caroline were warm and helpful hosts and we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to friends and family. Our children are already pestering us to book our next trip!

Wonderful hotel situated between the Morzine and Avoriaz gondolas. 5mins walk either way. ||Four friends/ work colleagues had a four day stay and have to make sure this establishment gets its due praise. ||Lovely staff, very friendly, funny and helpful. Rooms are perfect for what you require. | Each has its own small communal kitchen area with all mod cons. ||The pool and sauna are delightful after a full day skiing and you’re only minutes away from and decent restaurants or bars. ||Highly recommend and would definitely return. ||Jeep the dog is the boss, make no mistake of this!????

This was our second stay at this lovely hotel. It is family run by Eric and Caroline who are excellent hosts ,friendly and attentive. Location is in the centre of Morzine, 200yds from the Pleney lift. We enjoyed the open air heated(very warm) pool together with sauna and steam room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the interior design of the hotel is charming. We very much look forward to a return visit.

We had such a lovely stay at Hotel La Bergerie! This was our second time at this wonderful family-run hotel. Our hosts, Eric and Caroline and all the staff at Hotel La Bergerie (particularly Delphine at the reception) were always warm and welcoming. Our room was cosy, well equipped with a kitchenette and had an amazing view of the alps. We loved the sauna and pool, which was such a balm to our aching joints. Housecleaning was super efficient and our room was always pristinely clean and ready by the time we got back from the slopes. Jeep, the basset hound and the resident cat would always come up for a scratch and won a special place in our hearts. Location-wise, Hotel La Bergerie was very convenient- a short walk to the restaurants, shops and Super Morzine and a short bus ride to Prodains Express which drops you directly into Avoriaz. We are looking forward to returning to Portes du Soleil and Hotel La Bergerie next year!

We stayed for a long weekend and absolutely loved the hotel. Room was extremely comfortable and the facilities were ideal. The breakfast was on point to prepare you for a days skiing and the spa was fantastic for after! We are already excited to return next year and will no doubt be looking to stay at La Bergerie!

Great hotel in a very good location, staff were all very nice (and spoke good english) and breakfast was good and varied. I will definitely return when I next ski the Portes du Soleil next. One of our party is returning next year with his family.

Nous avons passé un court séjour pour les vacances de Noel 2025 en famille avec enfants et petits enfants, ( 9 personnes) à l'hôtel " La Bergerie" Ce fut un enchantement grâce à son confort, allié à l'accueil , la chaleur, la gentillesse, la discrétion et le professionnalisme des hôteliers Caro et Eric , de Delphine, et de tout le personnel. A croire qu'ils avaient même pensé à commander la neige pour nos skieurs avant notre arrivée ! . Tout était parfait; nous retournerions tous avec grand plaisir à la Bergerie .

A 2 pas de l’Esf et 3 du télécabine du pleney, au cœur d’une station familiale , nous adorons séjourner en famille dans cet hôtel.
Piscine chauffée extérieur, bar convivial, kitchenette en chambre, collation le soir et plein d’autres petites attention ont fait de nos vacances au ski un moment de pure moment de détente.
Petit plus, les enfants et les parents se font de nouveaux amis ????.

La bergerie est un établissement magnifique pour profiter en famille ou en couple. L’hôtel est très bien tenu et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour se relaxer ou s'amuser avec les enfants. Le personnel est très agréable et aux petits soins.|Ce séjour en famille était parfait !

Une belle semaine ressourçante passée à la Bergerie. Un lieu qui fleure bon la convivialité, décoré avec goût, avec quelques touches d'humour et de kitsch qu’on adore. On ne se sent pas vraiment à l’hôtel, mais plutôt invités dans une belle maison par des hôtes attentionnés. Les dîners étaient simples et authentiques, les petits déjeuners parfaits.
Tout est pensé pour les enfants, ce qui est suffisamment rare pour être souligné et vraiment très appréciable. On s’est sentis très bien et nos enfants aussi. Merci pour ce fabuleux accueil et pour toutes vos attentions ! On reviendra ????

Hôtel idéalement placé à Morzine, très confortable, avec une vraie ambiance familiale et de montagne. La piscine (chauffée l’hiver) et le jardin sont des plus.

Can’t ask for more in a hotel. Great, comfortable rooms. A good location in town to get out and do activities. A family owned and operated place that takes care in everything they do. Great for families with kids, great for couples - good food for breakfast lunch and dinner, as well as a nice place to have a nightcap before heading to bed. Can’t recommend this place enough, they will help you with anything you need.

Nous étions venus il y a plusieurs années avec nos enfants et nous sommes revenus en couple cette année, avec le même sentiment de vivre quelques jours dans un endroit rêvé. |L'accueil de Caroline et d'Éric est chaleureux et attentionné. Les chambres sont cosy et dotées de tout le confort nécessaire. Rien ne manque, pas même une kitchenette pour les jours où l'appétit est moindre et où on ne souhaite pas déjeuner ou dîner en extérieur. |Le jardin est un endroit extra pour prendre un verre le soir après avoir passé un peu de temps dans la piscine chauffée. Il est même possible de dîner sur place grâce à Caroline qui propose de très belles assiettes bien garnies. |Enfin, n'oublions pas l'emplacement en plein centre du village, à proximité de tous les commerces et restaurants. |Bref, nous n'attendrons pas aussi longtemps pour revenir et profiter de ce merveilleux endroit qui nous permet de décompresser de notre vie citadine et agitée. |Merci à Caroline, Éric et tout le personnel de l'hôtel aux petits soins. Un coucou spécial pour Sacha qui a bien grandi et qui est désormais une jeune fille très sympa et très avenante.

(Referring to the below response : we were even charged when I was ill and a a couple of pieces of fruit were brought by my wife to my room - it might be written in a manual but most places we stay are a lot clearer on price on check in and adding it to our stay. Also 5euros for a camomile tea without a priced bar menu. I don’t think you are transparent on pricing. This is my opinion, it was not made clear enough. I think my review is fair) Room was spotless and really nice. Location very good, close to the Pleney and a bus to Avoriaz. Pool and sauna are ok. Service was good however they are not transparent about breakfast costs. (Not mentioned during check in ect) £22 euro per person per day for breakfast is very high,(and not worth it) so they should have been crystal clear on this, especially when most mornings we are getting a coffee and fruit and they are hoping to get your room number down. I am aware this information is available when booking (a year ago) however I even emailed about the possibility of breakfast being added just before the stay and this wasn’t mentioned either. Overall the stay was good but adding £400 to our bill at check out soured the stay, so if you are booking be very careful on this.
