From start to finish, we experienced the entire team as professional, caring, genuine, efficient and knowledgeable, which made for a seamless and stress-free wedding, despite a few moving parts as, on the day, the Tour de France finished in Morzine!
The view, the food, the comfy accommodation, The Farmhouse has it all. To anyone considering celebrating their wedding in the Alps, and even to those who aren’t, we and our 104 guests would wholeheartedly recommend this magical place.
We’re eternally thankful to The Farmhouse including James, Sam, Duncan, Dorrien and the rest for an unforgettable wedding that felt entirely unique to us.
From a wedding venue perspective, we also cannot speak more highly of the team. We knew we wanted to get married in Morzine and as soon as we walked in, we felt so welcomed and instantly confident in their ability to provide us with the most memorable wedding. We didn’t even consider looking at other venues after our visit there as we just knew we were in safe hands. On the wedding weekend, they ensured that absolutely everything ran as smoothly as possible, anticipating our needs before we even realised ourselves. The food was out of this world too, with our guest in awe of the catering team’s ability to put together so many delicious dishes for a large number of guests.
We planned to have the ceremony outside on the lawn but with the alpine weather against us, the whole team did an incredible job to seamlessly adapt the plan and set up in the stretch tent. The tent was a stunning alternative, and the atmosphere was magical.
We are so immensely grateful to James, Sam, Dorrien and the team for hosting us. All your help, thoughtfulness and talent gave us the most wonderful wedding and has provided unbelievable memories, which we are so thankful for.

The service was impeccable, the staff very nice and discreet. The location is absolutely stunning of course, and we were amazed by the amenities, the attention to details, the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms.
The food was also of the highest quality, with vegan options to suit all our guests dietary requirements.
James and Dorrien were also very helpful in recommending the best suppliers in the area (florist, childcare, transfers) so that the organisation was painless for us.
We are already thinking about celebrating our anniversary there.
