Hotel je ljep i uredan , ja sam bio u ljetu pa je vjerovatno zimi dogadjaj ljepši , cure na recepciji pristojne , komunikativne , svaki dan je soba bila počišćena … čista … kad budem privatno idem u Megeve opet na isto mjesto !

Un plaisir intense que de retrouver cet hôtel connu dans les années 80.
Emplacement parfait au cœur des activités megevannes mais à l’abri des nuisances.
Chambre coquette et représentative de la quiétude de cette merveilleuse station.
La propreté est parfaite , les sanitaires irréprochables, la literie impeccable et l’insonorisation idéale.
Petit déjeuner pris sur la terrasse et comprenant tout le nécessaire .
Garage très frais et petit corner propice au télétravail .
Un regret : quitter ces lieux qui en l’espace de 48 nous a permis de nous ressourcer à merveille !

Excellent accueil dans cet hôtel au charme de la région, c'est à dire chaleureux, façon chalet. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipée. Plein de petites intentions dans la chambre puis au départ. Vraiment top, je recommande vivement.

Our 4th visit to this hotel. Always perfect for us and our dog. Ideal location and room. Parking good, rooms clean although we always find something not working in the room, last time the TV, this time a socket but aside of this we have an enjoyable stay. The cleaners are not the quietest during the day but they do a good job. We only found out on this trip that omelettes were and option at breakfast and that was overheard when staff were speaking to other guests. Would have been good to have heard of this when we arrived.

No complaints whatsoever. Would definitely visit again & recommend. ||1. This hotel is in a great location for exploring the beautiful town, accessing the gondola for the Mont Blanc slopes or skiing locally in Rochebrune. ||2. From the moment of booking they were so helpful with my various queries, this continued throughout the stay, giving advice on the local area & helping with transfers. Staff even helped me with some printing of documents during our stay (house sale related). So impressed with all the staff. ||3. A very tasty continental breakfast, I’m addition omelettes, soya and oat milk available on request, so grateful for an early breakfast when we checked out very early in the morning, a really lovely touch - thank you. ||4. Loved having a drink next to the open fire after a day skiing, a real highlight (complementary bar snacks each time). So happy to have a balcony in our room. A truly excellent three star hotel. ||5. The bedrooms were warm enough to dry out ski clothes each night. We stored our ski equipment where we hired them, save walking back from the slopes with the equipment. ||6. Have an outdoor night swim with the mountains in view at the Palais just behind the hotel. ||Merci beaucoup to every member of staff for making our stay with you absolutely perfect! The goodbye pot of sweets for our son was a lovely touch.

I am honestly super bummed to write this review because I wanted to support one of the very few(? or maybe last) family-run hotels when most lodging options in Megève are owned and managed by large corporations nowadays. I figured for a one night stay during a solo trip, it’s not a big deal, and oh boy was I wrong. I really should’ve splurged for a much nicer hotel, because I’m really not sure how this place even got three stars.

First of all, I am going to list pros and cons that didn’t bother me, but could potentially be big dealbreakers for others:
- The room is quite dated, but clean and decently sized. I slept well and the bed is comfortable
- The bathroom amenities were quite bare-bone. Just a shower cap, and a three-in-one hand wash, body wash and shampoo. There isn’t a separate shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. No lotion, no vanity kits, no slippers, nothing, etc.
- Not really a full service hotel. There’s a breakfast room and bar in the lobby, but no food services at other times which could be rather inconvenient. There are drinks throughout the day if you want to order them.
- Obviously no spa/pool/hot tub or any of those facilities
- There isn't any shuttle to the nearest gondolas, and the closest chair lift is a 7 min walk away. It's honestly easier if you just drive ~5 min to the Princess gondola and park there instead.

Here’s the things that bothered me:
- Didn’t really feel the warmth or well welcome that others have noted in their reviews when I checked in. A lot of times, these boutique hotels pride in their properties and often offer a tour or intro of their hotel, recommendations of the town, helpful info such as ways of getting to the gondola, etc. I got shown the breakfast room and lobby bar and that’s it. However, the lady who checked me out was incredibly sweet and kind.
- When I checked in, no one was there to help me with luggage. When I called the front desk to check out, unfortunately the lady at the desk was too busy between the front desk and the breakfast room, and no one could help either. I mean, I might as well have stayed at an airbnb when I'm a solo traveler and need a hand for my bags?!
- There was limited parking along side the small road by the hotel entrance. They do have a parking lot in the back, but that lot was filled with ICE (not snow) and no one ever cleared it (in contrast, I stayed at another hotel in Chamonix where they had a Volvo snow plow truck to remove snow every morning). Luckily I found a spot on the side of the road.
- I think the main issue that set me off was the really sad looking and uninspiring breakfast buffet. Look I’m not asking for caviar or lobster eggs Benedict, but cold breakfast only for a hotel that’s charging 300 euros a night for their base room? C’mon, at least serve some warm scrambled eggs?! Je tiens à partager mon Expérience mon mari ayant réservé via une agence. Il a réservé pour un séjour de trois nuits dans cet établissement que nous connaissons car nous sommes clients depuis Longue, date Nous avons eu un empêchement de santé. Avec l’impossibilité de nous rendre à notre week-end. Nous avons demandé une modification des dates car nous nous connaissons très bien les propriétaires qu’ils ont modifié pour la semaine. Et la semaine suivante, l’état de santé Aller en se dégradant Car mon mari a eu la grippe. J’ai appelé la responsable pour lui dire que nous ne pourrons pas venir deux jours avant. L’hôtel n’était même pas complet. Je lui ai demandé un avoir pour les prochaines fois Même en payant un supplément si les chambres étaient à un tarif supérieur, la responsable m’a répondu que non, il était impossible de faire un avoir donc j’ai perdu 700 €, je ne trouve pas ça très gentil de leur part, et ce n’est pas commerçant. C’est dommage car nous ne retournerons plus dans cet établissement.

Great service, great location and Cousy vibe

Vous avez conscience que le petit déjeuner est un enfer ? Entre nous on l’appelle le « petit défoncé » tellement il n’y a rien. La nonchalance d’un personnel aussi bruyant que peu efficace n’y est peu être pas pour rien. Changez d’équipe prenez des gens plus investis et proposez quelquechose de plus qualitatif svp ????????

Having read the details in the other 5 star reviews I have little to add. The location, the interiors, the rooms, the staff, all were as described earlier. We were a family group starting off with 4, ending with 11, occupying 4 rooms for a week over Christmas. Of course we were additionally blessed with good snow, blue skies, & great skiing conditions for the diminishing number of skiers in the group. Truly, we were so well looked after by all the staff throughout the hotel, with their warm smiles, but in particular must convey our grateful thanks to Catherine, Bertrand and Amelia, for what proved to be an exceptionally happy stay for us all. |.

Bem, para começar gosto de referir que na nossa viagem pela Europa foi o único local com camas realmente confortáveis... Porém o bom pequeno almoço, o local paradisíaco e a boa disposição dos funcionários contribuíram para que esta fosse a melhor experiência que tivemos com hotéis que tivemos nos últimos tempos. Dito isto, é extremamente recomendável escolher este hotel para ter umas boas férias numa terra perto de Chamonix.

Hôtel très bien place en plein centre avec son parking on peut tout faire à pieds on aime la gentillesse des équipes le petit déjeuner et très correct et son service aussi c’est un super rapport qualité prix on vient régulièrement et on est jamais déçus

Fabulous cosy hotel, all staff very friendly and super helpful. Brilliantly situated for the town which is just a few mins walk and although we didn’t walk to the nearest ski lifts as they were closed, it is close to several of them.|It’s also a great location to have a car and drive to other ski resorts, which are easily accessible if Megeve is shut. Parking on site or on road at no cost.|Rooms very clean, tidy and comfortable and each day there was a bottle of water and a sweet treat. |Breakfast usual continental and ok.|Beautiful lounge area with open fire and small bar.|Would definitely stay again!

Je suis venue avec une amie début janvier ,je recommande vivement cet hôtel, pour l’emplacement central , la chambre avec terrasse , le petit déjeuner très bon , le personnel très gentil, et la responsable particulièrement adorable. Nous avons même eu des chocolats pour le train en partant !!Nous étions comme à la maison !! Si je reviens à megève ce sera dans cet Hôtel !! Merciii encore !!!

Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour son ambiance sans prétention mais confortable. Les installations offrent tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable, sans superflu inutile avec une mention toute particulière pour le personnel très professionnel.
