We had a fantastic stay at La Grande Laniere, and couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The staff were all super-friendly, the ski-in-ski-out location is fantastic and our bedroom was clean and comfortable, with an amazing ski slope balcony view as an added bonus. The bar and log fire lounge areas were lovely, providing the perfect setting to unwind after a day's skiing.||The hotel is around 20 mins walk into the centre of Les Gets, or a 5 mins. ride on the free shuttle bus which runs every half hour until early evening. There's a button lift right outside, though, and also a fast chairlift you can ski down to directly from the hotel easily. Both lifts get you into the main Les Gets ski area quickly, with many decent blue and red runs essentially on the doorstep.
