LA BOURNERIE

Une belle soirée encore avec notre jojo national ????|Fondue savoyarde excellente comme d’habitude on ne s’en lasse pas ???? |Je recommande ce restaurant si vous souhaitez des spécialités de la montagne, en couple, entre amis ou en famille. Cela fait des années que nous y venons et on ne s’en lasse pas merci à vous

Restaurant très agréable. Très bon accueil et cuisine excellente. On y retourne chaque année avec nos enfants et petits enfants

A wonderful place to stay and eat ||I booked a solo short ski trip here March 25 without knowing the accommodation or even the resort. I am so pleased I chose La Bournerie to stay. Natalie & her team speak good English and are so friendly & helpful and always interested to talk with you and in the build up I was in email exchange with Natalie too. The breakfast is basic but the dinners are amazing (I went half board) and was fed such filling & delicious food. The restaurant is fully booked every night with families which proved its popularity for just dining. The accommodation is a private area above the restaurant which has a huge lounge area with lots of bedrooms and comfy beds and reliable hot water. You are right on the slope and above one of the main lifts. Free parking below if you can find a space. The ski resort of Grand Bonard was great for 3 days as it is so close to Geneva and although very warm still had plentiful groomed slopes. My lift pass was delivered to the chalet which I greatly appreciated. I think it has 5 rooms and can sleep about 15 people so would be an incredible place to go as a big group and book the whole top floor.||I will really miss it and would absolutely stay again.||For families with young children please also consider the following;||- lots of steep steps to get to from car park below, if you don’t go half board then you’ll be doing a lot of steps to get to dinner in the town so I suggest eat at La Bournerie as half board ||- The hot water can get very hot, if you have really young kids be careful when they are in bath & shower|- The steps from inside restaurant up to ||accommodation are very steep (see picture) and will need adult supervision for young kids, there is a private set of steps to get outside from the lounge area which I think safer and just as easy to use||- The chalet is very old & traditional which makes it absolutely beautiful but can be cold if you do not get the heating right in your room

Excellente semaine dans ce chalet qui mérite de grimper les 165 marches ! A l’étage, dans un ancien grenier à grains, 5 chambres autour d’une salle de vie confortable. Le soir on partage le dîner autour d’une table d’hôte gourmande.
