CAMPING L'ESCALE ^{* * *}

J'ai passé de superbe vacances dans le coin, c'était la première fois que j'allais en montagne et je ne regrette pas. Endroit calme, joli, personnel sympathique. Je reviendrai !

Ma dernière nuit de camping a été horrible, à cause de jeunes qui revenaient d'une fête, ivres et criant, sans se soucier qu'il y ait plus de monde au camping. Le pire c'est que les propriétaires ou gérants du camping ne sont pas allés arrêter ce bordel.

Des jeunes font la fête ivres, crient et vomissent toute la nuit jusqu'à 5 heures du matin à l'intérieur du camping, impossible de dormir.
Nous avons payé pour une nuit sans pouvoir dormir du tout, et avec les salles de bain pleines de vomi et de merde

Great site with all the facilities you need for skiing or boarding, great size boot room with plenty of boot warmers although yet to see them warm my boots !!! Good sized ski /boarding room with plenty of lockable holders (just use your own padlock) and a great separate clothing drying room. The pool on site is small but adequate to soak following a busy day, a selection of games such as ping pong, air hockey, electronic site down Sega games. There's also tumble dryers and washing machines at the end of the games room shoukd you need them.
The showering facilities (pods) are spotless and have adjustable temp which is great when you want it really hot unlike many other sites. There is a bus stop right outside the site which take you to the lifts (Rosay telecabin, bus A or D) being the closest which is litterally a 5min free bus journey or 15min walk. The town is a 5min walk over the bridge from the site and up the steps past the bus depot towards the church (which you'll hear every hour on the hour !!). There's no site wifi only in reception which is free, there's a lovely hotel and spa 2min walk up the road from the site which charge €20 to access the sauna, steam room and hot tubs. The onsite restuarnt is ok, seems quite understaffed as food very slow and not always hot, we had puzza the one night as a take away and they seemed put out by this even though they offer take away, i found this place expensive compared to orher places in town and not as good quality, when asked for all 3 pizza to not have olives they all came with olives Great !!!...Overall a great site with things todo should the weather turn bad, alos theres an indoor ice rink some 3mins walk out the site up the hill, I'd definable revisit the site and recommend to others.

2eme séjour à l escale l hiver, tout est très pratique : local pour les skis, les chaussures, sanitaires propre et bien chauffés. La navette s arrete juste devant le camping pour les télé cabine, le centre ville a moins de 500m. Tout était parfait !
