I discovered Hotel Eden on a stroll through
Chamonix, and from the outside alone, it felt like something out of a fairytale – compact, elegant, and filled with a unique charm that drew me in immediately. I booked it for my last night in town… and honestly, I regret not spending my entire stay there.

This boutique hotel feels freshly renovated, with great attention to detail and a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The lobby is warm, beautifully designed, and so inviting – I could’ve spent the whole day there with my laptop or just relaxing. Although I didn’t eat at the breakfast buffet (I’m vegan), I could feel how calm, warm, and welcoming the energy was.

I want to especially thank Yelena at reception – she was so kind, professional, and generous. She gave me a free train pass that lets you ride through the entire Chamonix valley – which completely made my day. On my final morning, I just sat on that scenic train, gazing at the mountains, resting after days of walking. It felt like being in a movie – only missing some popcorn ????

Yelena speaks several languages, and we ended up having a great conversation in Russian. Through her, I learned that the hotel is owned by an amazing woman who fled the war in Russia with her four children. She worked at this hotel while pregnant, even serving drinks to guests herself – and you can feel her spirit in every corner. There’s something unmistakably feminine, soft, and thoughtful about the place. The warmth, the little touches – it all speaks of love and care.

My room was a perfect match – modern, immaculate, super cozy, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. I’ll definitely be coming back to try one of the rooms with a balcony next time.

And finally – a word about the price: during the time I visited, the rate was surprisingly affordable, especially for Chamonix. It’s rare to find a boutique hotel like this at such value. That alone helped me discover this hidden gem, and now I know exactly where I’ll stay when I return.

Beautiful and charming interiors.
Stayed there only two nights, however fully enjoyed. There is a small billiard table in the garden.
Breakfast tastes great. Staff was kind and friendly.
There is a great restaurant literally 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Coming back.

Très belle découverte ! L’hôtel est plein de charme, décoré avec goût, tout est pensé pour que les clients se sentent à l’aise. L’ambiance est calme et chaleureuse, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes.

Le personnel est vraiment attentionné, toujours prêt à aider avec le sourire — ça fait la différence. La chambre était agréable et confortable, et tout était très propre et bien entretenu, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable.

Un vrai coup de cœur, j’y retournerai sans hésiter !

Ein absoluter Volltreffer! Das Hôtel Eden in Chamonix, gelegen im charmanten Ortsteil Les Praz, hat meine Tochter und mich vom ersten Moment an begeistert. Das Gebäude selbst ist ein kleines architektonisches Juwel mit viel Geschichte und Charakter, man spürt den Charme der alten Zeit, kombiniert mit geschmackvoller, moderner Ausstattung. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Empfangsdame: extrem kompetent, sympathisch und mit Humor, selten wird man so herzlich und zugleich professionell empfangen. Unser Apartment war schlichtweg ein Bijou: stilvoll eingerichtet, bestens ausgestattet und mit traumhaftem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Auch das restliche Ambiente mit der gemütlichen Lounge, dem Kamin und der sonnigen Terrasse trug zur entspannten Atmosphäre bei. Wer alpinen Stil, echte Gastfreundschaft und eine perfekte Lage sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

hotel Eden is close to the train station. Whenever a train passes by, the hotel room will vibrate and be very noisy. There is not much water in the bathroom and the bathtub is very slippery, so be careful of falling. In addition, there was no hot water when I took a shower around 9:30 that night, which was really bad. The next day we were going to TMB to continue the next journey, and we would come back the next day to pick up our luggage. We were charged 10 euros to store our luggage.

Hôtel bien placé (proche gare, arrêts de bus et télécabine pour se rendre au lac blanc) très propre, personnel sympathique et une vue magnifique depuis la chambre ! Dommage que nous ne restions qu’une nuit !

Un week-end à l'hôtel l'Eden où tout s'est très bien passé.|Nous avions réservé une chambre pour deux nuits avec vue sur la montagne. Nous avons été surclassés dans un appartement et avions une très belle vue.|Le petit déjeuner à 12€ est très copieux dans une très belle salle de restaurant.|Le personnel est jeune, très sympathique, professionnelle et efficace.|Nous vous recommandons cet hôtel.||

However Eden deducted from my credit card. When the booking was cancelled within the free cancellation period, they charged me €20. If they are not able to pay for bank charges then they shouldn’t deduct from my credit card so early.||I have checked their booking policies on booking.com and have not found anything about bank charges. I am entitled to a full refund but they refuse to do it.||If you are booking this hotel please take note of this.

Stayed here in March 2025 for a night, the rooms were amazing, and the staff was mega friendly. Thanks a lot!!

C'est superbe!!! ||I stayed here last week with a friend for 3 nights and it was a really lovely hotel!!!||The staff were very friendly and helpful! There was a nice games room and lounge on the left and also on nice lounge area on the right with a bar and a beautiful fire place giving it a cosy, warm and peaceful environment! ||Le petit déjeuner c'est très bien! A lovely breakfast area with a great selection of things! Our room got upgraded to a very spacious family room, modern and with fantastic view too.!||The location was ideal as it was so close to the Flegere lift and ticket office to get my lift pass easily and very close to a good ski shop (Ravanel Les Praz). This was very easy to get my lift pass and ski hire. ||Chamonix itself was about 2.5 km walk away to the centre ville but it was nice walk down along the river away from the main road. We walked down and back up to Les Praz on our first day about 25/30 minutes walk each way. Chamonix centre ville c'est tres belle! There are regular shuttle buses that can take you up and down the valley. We went up to Le Tour and Grand Montets, Argentiere one day and did Flegere and Brevent the other 2 days. ||We had dinner at Les Lanchers bar hotel and had a wee beer at Le Petit Social! Chamonix probably is bigger and more going and Les Praz little is a little quieter but that was perfect for us! ||Definitely would come back here! The front desk was incredibly helpful and efficient. The rooms are great -- clean, cozy and comfortable. The train to the heart of Chamonix is a 30 second walk. Highly recommend.

Overall, great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. They speak English well and are quick to offer services. Late check in was easy since they just leave a key for you. Hotel has the alpine feel which fitting for the region. Great views of Le Flégère ski area. Very happy with the hotel.

Hello, We never made it to Chamonix to stay at this delighful hotel! We booked for a 4 night stay in January 2025 through BOOKING.COM, we went with the ‘free cancellation, pay at property’ option, which we all know is slightly more expensive, however the option of free cancellation is a safety net! As it transpired, our requirements changed! and cancelled our booking! ONLY TO FIND THAT THE HOTEL HAD ALREADY TAKEN PAYMENT! This wasn’t the deal we signed up to! After waiting 20 days, the refund finally appeared! HOWEVER, £35 less from what we paid! I’m guessing this is due to currency fluctuations! but the money should NEVER have left our account! ||I have sent emails to hotel and Booking.com and at this point in time NO REPLIES! I will keep you posted!

Hôtel très bien aménagé, ce mélange de moderne et d’ancien est fait avec bon goût. Le personnel est très sympathique. Les petits déjeuner sont copieux et variés. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres, le lit est très grand (on s’y perd !!!) la moquette est bonne à changer car beaucoup de taches. |Petit bémol sur le bruit du train le matin. |Le téléphérique est à deux pas de l’hôtel

Tout est très joli, intérieur magnifique, chambre, petit déjeuner top.
Seul petit bémol c'est pour garer même des motos à côté de l'hôtel ce n'est pas très possible, garage à l'abri payant.

I had a wonderful experience at Eden Hotel in Les Praz Chamonix! The rooms are very comfortable and offer a stunning view of Mont Blanc, which made the stay even more special. I really appreciated the impeccable cleanliness of the room and the rich and varied breakfast, which was a perfect way to start each day.

Although the room didn't have a fridge, the staff was very kind and allowed me to store a bottle of wine in the reception fridge, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and relaxing stay in Chamonix!

Hotel magnifique, aussi bien en intérieur que l'extérieur avec toutes ses belles terrasses. Très propre, déco très soignée touches modernes dans l'ancien. Personnel très sympathique, c'est très calme. Je recommande vivement !

Nous avons passé une agréable nuit à l'hotel Eden, la chambre était très propre avec une superbe vue sur le Mont Blanc. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très appréciable pour les skieurs étant donné qu'il se situe au pied des pistes de Flègères.
Le personnel est très sympathique et le buffet du petit déjeuner était varié.
Nous serions ravis de revenir lors de notre prochaine visite à Chamonix.

Hôtel très agréable, authentique, avec un charme certain , aspect typique de Chamonix, personnel sérieux et serviable, à l'écoute des besoins des clients, je le recommande ! ! !
Seule l'isolation phonique entre les chambres pourrait être améliorée, tout le reste est très bien.
