The hotel is beautiful, with an astonishing view. The staff is hyper friendly, the buffet is delicious, the beds are super comfortable, and it is super well located. Will be back for sure

My 67 year old mother and me had an unplanned stay in Chamonix because we got lost in town and missed the bus. It was almost 7pm on a Sunday evening. The information office of the town was closed. I do not wish that feeling to anybody. Le Refuge des Aiglons was in the corner in front of the bus stop. So I went there to ask some information. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful. She explained me the options that I had to return to the city or to stay in town in an unbiased way. She lend me her phone to make some phone calls. She was very patient with us. We decided to stay at Le Refuge because it seemed a safe, comfortable option with an affordable price for a last minute stay. It had a nice place area where my mother and I played some ping pong and could relax. It has a comfy sofa where we watched some soccer. The bedroom was very cozy and well decorated. It has a jacuzzi with a nice view of the the mountains. The breakfast was delicious. It offers a good variety of options for food. We had an unplanned stay at Chamonix, but we did not regret staying at Le Refuge because it made us feel at home. I would definitely book another stay there.
