C'est toujours un plaisir. Bon accueil, emplacement top, vue sur le Mont Blanc... Que dire. On va mettre 9 pour laisser la possibilité du 10 après les travaux. Vivement 2027 alors :-)

Struttura romantica, d'altri tempi (peccato che venga ristrutturata!), posizione eccezionale, nel cuore della città, colazione eccellente e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Soggiorno splendido

Personnel des plus sympathiques et serviables. Petit-déjeuner avec un bel assortiment. Point de vue hôtel comment dire il est plutôt rustique et d'ailleurs il vit sa dernière année car il va être fermé pour une rénovation générale d'ici la fin de cette année et pendant au moins un an et demi mets en attendant c'est néanmoins un endroit de plus sympathique

Chambre très veillotte avec une porte qui ne ferme pas très bien qui laisse un jour d'environ 2 cm et qui ne permet pas d'avoir le noir complet à cause de la lumière du couloir qui rentre et qui reste allumé toute la nuit... Bâtiment très peu insonorisé ou l'on entends tout ce qui se passe dans les couloirs et à l'étage supérieur

I booked this hotel , didn't expect it to be good as it's cheap. But turn out surprisedly was very good. The staff are very nice and helpful. They also gave us free train card to travel to nearby. There's a cafe machine you can use as much as you want. The room is big (we booked the cheapest room) and very clean even though is old. The location is more than good , very very center. 5 stars for this :-)

The hotel has an awful smell. When we arrived (back door where we were dropped off) I thought we were in a broom cupboard. It was dark and looked like a dumping ground for broken stuff. The bed was comfy, the pillows awful. Why are they so small?! The wall behind our shower was falling down, the light above the mirror and the hairdryer both didn’t work. The safe didn’t work. We weren’t comfortable leaving our keys in the bowl on the desk. We could have walked out of the bathroom window and over to another hotel window across the roof, and vice verca. I understand this is a cheaper hotel but we really felt disappointed by it. Couldn’t use the TV, it was tiny and only French channels.

우선 리셉션 직원분들이 정말 친절하고, 샤모니 중심가에 있기 때문에 관광하기에도 매우 편리한 위치였습니다. 식당/마트/기념품샵 등이 매우 가까웠습니다.
곤돌라 등 매표소가 도보이용가능해서 좋았습니다. 숙소 전반의 이용에 있어서 편안하고 좋았습니다. 단, 소음에 예민한 사람이나 신식리모델링된 공간을 원하는 사람과는 조금 맞지 않을 수 있습니다. 저와 일행은 오히려 엔틱한 요소가 많은 숙소여서 정말 색다른 여행이 되어서 좋았습니다!

We have stayed several times in your cozy hotel with original mountain design, in- and outside.
Our dog likes it as well and the parking on the lot is appreciated. Very good breakfast, very central location and wonderful staff. Keep it as is !

Le parquet sous la moquette qui grince à tous les étages. Dès que le voisin du dessus bouge vous le savez.

J'ai prix une chambre à 117 euros pour exclusivement regarder Canal +. La Réception m'assure que Canal+ fait bien parti de l'offre... Résultats pas de Canal + et 117 euros par la fenêtre.
J'ai gentiment faire remarquer à la Réception le lendemain matin et j'ai été reçu sur un ton indigne en me faisant comprendre que cela aurait été à moi de trouver et proposer des solutions... Du grand professionnalisme!!!

The good points first - location right in the heart of the town and easy walk to ski bus stops, the friendly & helpful staff on reception and breakfast, the free coffee machine.|However, this hotel has not been updated since the 1960’s - it’s very tired and needs a complete refurbishment. The walls between rooms are paper thin - we got very little sleep all week due to noisy / partying people in adjacent rooms often until 5.00 am. The room above us had someone who every night started stomping around usually from 2.00am to 4.30am, as if he was doing exercises, or perhaps he was on drugs? The room had no number so was presumably staff?|The sign in the bathroom said leave towels on the floor if they needed replacing - nope, they just hung them back up. The bidet taps were loose & didn’t work. The shower over the bath is at chest height. The TV had no signal. The bed was never changed. Dirty cups weren’t cleaned up or taken away. The safe had no batteries so was no use. The ‘cleaners’ left our room door open several days. The standard of cleaning was poor.|You are expected to put room keys in a bowl on reception - there is absolutely no control over who can take these so the room is not secure, same applies to the key for the ski / luggage room.

Hôtel charmant, j'adore ce côté un peu ancien, offrant une bagagerie/ski room, une salle de repos, une machine à boisson...Chambre très spacieuse et propre, vue montagne. Le personnel (accueil, service petit déjeuner et entretien) adorable, toujours au petit soin. Emplacement exceptionnel.

Rooms need a makeover, although they are clean and functional. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay. If all you want is a room without any frills then you’ll be fine.

If you are looking for plush or posh then this is the wrong place. If you want comfortable and pleasant with a great location then it is great.
We got our room 3.5hrs early. The tourist info to pick up the passes is a couple of minutes walk as is the Intersport for equipment hire. Stops for buses to the various hills are within 5-10min walk. Loads of good places to eat and shop nearby.
The rooms are basic but quite large. It did get hot overnight but leaving the window open helped. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom and toilet functioned just fine. The shower gel/shampoo seemed good.
The room to store boards/skis/boots was good.
Breakfast was good and there was free hot drinks and cold water in reception and often free leftover croissants and pain au chocolats.
Overall we had a good time.

Très bon choix d'hébergement, très bien situé. Personnel au petit soin, aimable et serviable.

I stayed here with a friend for a skiing holiday and I found the hotel very well situated in the centre of town for most of our needs. Chamonix itself is a pretty, friendly place with good restaurants and shops so to be here was great.
The hotel has 24hr reception which was very useful with staff who were helpful and treated you like valued guests. Other features of the hotel worth mentioning are the boot room, coffee machine (included) and although its not a feature itself its worth saying; nice clientele.
It's an authentic skiing hotel which I enjoyed staying at.

Salle de bain sale, joints de baignoire vétustes, rideaux de douche vieux, rideau qui n’occulte pas la pièce, lumière qui fait du bruit, plinthes manquantes dans les wc, (voir photos) … malheureusement l’hôtel profite de son emplacement pour facturer des chambres hors de prix par rapport au niveau des prestations proposées.
Rien à redire sur le service et l’amabilité du personnelle.

Great place if you want to stay in the main area of Chamonix. Walking distance to everything (train station, ski buses, etc.,) Staff is very helpful.

Rustic old building,, so don’t expect a comfy stay… I came for a couple of nights, so I decided to let go and live with what’s being offered… bad call, but no alternatives.
Avoid the Room 23 (nice view, but a disaster in terms of noises and clearly hearing everything around from the corridor and other rooms). At night there are moments when I thought someone else in the room..
1) I was not given the room I booked which should be in the highest floor. I mentioned it to the receptionist after checked-in, but they don’t seem to have much rooms available, and I was given a room with a balcony and nice view. Very acceptable at first sight.
2) my room was 23 just at the beginning of 1st floor stairs and i can hear everything happens outside the door, and from the rooms above and next to me.. I can clearly hear everything from outdoor, and indoor including showers, all walks in the corridor, chats, and much more.
Basically, the room lacks soundproofing and it is not good for relaxing time.. Although the view is nice from the balcony, yet hard to enjoy.

J'ai été ce weekend dans cet hôtel, l'emplacement est en plein centre-ville, la machine à café en libre-service est vraiment tip top, ce qui est très très rare dans beaucoup d'autres.
Le petit-déjeuner est suffisamment copieux malgré le ravitaillement lent.
Ma chambre se trouvait au 4e étage, la vue était juste à couper le souffle, chambre assez spacieuse, propre mais petit bémol , l eaux de la douche avait un débit très lent dû à l'économiseur d eaux intégré dans le pommeau de douche.
Je retourne au printemps à Chamonix, moi qui adore changer d hôtel, je reviendrai dans cet hôtel.????
PS : Merci pour les cadeaux de bienvenue, nos enfants étaient content qu on ait pu leur donner un petit cadeau de l hôtel.
