Domnul administrator sau Propietar sau ce este, mi-a închis telefonul când i-am zis că vreau să-mi returneze banii achitați…(136€)
Nu recomand nimănui să ajungă în această locație din punct de vedere igienic.
De când intri în clădire… mi-au comunicat că acel antreu era bucătăria… îți întorcea stomacul pe dos de un miros acid de ciorapi, ghete de schiuri și alte prostii depozitate în acea Bucătărie. (cred că avea vre-un animal mort prin depozit sau magazie)
Camerele arată WOW în poze, dar în realitate… dezgustător!
Am plătit și am fost nevoit să caut alta locație în oraș.
S-a încheiat sejurul super că în acel moment disperat, am găsit o locație perfectă.
De vină sunt cei ce lucrează online , mai ales „agoda.com” cu așa oameni fără bun simț, vor profit dar fără investiții!
Nu puteam crede că în Franța poate fii așa ceva.
Datorită autorităților în drept ce nu-și fac datoria.
Rușine domnule administrator sau ce-oi fii, nu se rezumă totul la bani!
Păcat, că la așa o locație faci bani domnule, dacă ai caracter și bun simț….

The chalet is great for its value. Although the main living area is a bit cluttered and dirty at times (though Phil and Michelle clean it daily!), the rooms are clean and well set up. Breakfast was nice as well. The only issue we had was that it was pretty noisy at night, but our room was right by the stairwell so maybe it is better in other rooms. If you’re a light sleeper just being ear plugs.

A primera vista parece el lugar perfecto e idílico, las vistas son espectaculares y el lugar es tranquilo para el descanso.
El dueño nos esperó en el interior para darnos la llave, cobrar la habitación y desaparecer. Ninguna explicación en ningún aspecto.
Nos hizo quitar los zapatos encima de una alfombra más sucia que nuestras zapatillas justo al lado de la cocina que olía mal y estaba más sucia aún.
Los cuartos de baño eran indecentes llenos de pelos y telarañas.
El desayuno bastante flojito.
El autobús esta en la puerta pero no es gratis tal y como nos dijo el.
El tren a 15m andando es la opción mas cómoda.
No hay barbacoa.
Una lastima. Phil le podías sacar mucho partido a este sitio.
No volveremos!!!!!!

Mooie en rustieke chalet aan de rand van Chamonix met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. De eigenaar was gastvrij en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was wel aan de karige kant, met alleen stokbrood, croissantjes, een yoghurtje en koffie of thee. De gezelligheid van het samenzitten met de andere gasten maakte tegelijkertijd wel weer wat goed. De kamers waren prima en ruim, en de gedeelde wc en badkamer waren ook in orde.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. L'emplacement est incroyable, lorsque nous aimons les activités de outdoor et le plaisir de la montagne. Phil est accueillant, le chalet est très charmant. Nous reviendrons! The mountain call ????

Pokoje z klimatem i pięknym widokiem. Właściciele bardzo mili I uprzejmi, śniadania pyszne. Panuje tutaj taki rodzinny klimat mimo że wszyscy z innych państw pochodzą to i tak klimat taki się odczuwa. Polecam bo warto.

Meillä oli kolmen hengen huone kahdestaan kellarikerroksessa, huone pysyi mukavan viileänä helteestä huolimatta. Alakerrassa on keittiö missä tehdä ruokaa sekä kaksi jaettavaa kylpyhuonetta. Talon edestä lähtee Chamonixin ilmainen bussiyhteys ja Taconnazin bussipysäkille kävelee viitisen minuuttia jossa myös juna-asema. Phil on todella loistava isäntä, aamupalakokki ja auttaa ja neuvoo aika tarvittaessa mikäli kysyttävää on. Hinta-laatu-suhde 6/5 ja lämmin suositus ????????????????

La mejor parte fue el desayuno, donde teniamos una vista preciosa de las montañas.
Fácil acceso al transporte, cerca a la ciudad, zona tranquila y segura.

Nu știu cu ce sa incep pt că am avut experiență foarte neplăcută am rezervat ceva frumos ????in poze doar când ajungi la fața locului foarte urât camera,baia separat dar murdară și un miros foarte greu de suportat nici cățelul meu nu a suportat să rămână de mirosul din bucătărie cu bocanci împuțiți, șosete împuțite......etc .Acum vine mirarea că cel care am ținut legătura aseară și astăzi i-am cerut explicații și ne-a închis telefonul in nas fără nici o explicație cum să ne recuperăm banii . Este prima experiență și sper sa numai întâmpinăm așa ceva niciodată.nici măcar o stea nu merită am încheiat pt că am multe de spus dar nu se merită.????????????????????????????????

Loved our stay at Chalet Les Frenes! Would definitely stay here again. Phil is an excellent host! Super helpful, great chats and has loads of knowledge of all the hikes and biking in the area.
The atmosphere in the chalet is really nice, we met a bunch of lovely people staying here. It's quiet and clean and the chalet is truly at the base of the glacier- the views are stunning!!
Breakfast is included and they were even kind enough to put an early breakfast in the oven for us when we had to jet off early.

J'ai passé une très bonne semaine au chalet les Frènes. Phil le propriétaire est très sympathique et l'accueil chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Les chambres sont simples mais confortables. Il y a des places de parking à disposition. L'endroit est calme, situé aux Bossons à 4 km de Chamonix, idéal pour séjourner au pays du Mont Blanc. Excellent séjour: j'y retournerai avec plaisir.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans ce Bed and Breakfast et nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour. Notre chambre était confortable, avec une vue à couper le souffle sur les montagnes et le glacier. Le propriétaire Phil est super sympa, le petit déjeuner est très bon. Nous craignions un peu avant notre séjour le fait que la salle de bain et les toilettes soient à partager, mais cela ne nous a au final absolument pas dérangé. Et le tout à un tarif imbattable pour Chamonix en plein 15 août. Nous recommandons le Chalet sans hésiter. Et un grand merci à Phil pour son accueil !

This is a very wonderful place to stay, hosts are really nice and they speak English & French. This place has all the facilities and rooms are neat and clean, it has a kitchen (just in case you want to cook by yourself). One can spend his/her whole day looking at Mont Blanc from the balcony while having coffee (beautiful view). Bus stop is right outside the premises and train station is within 10mins of walking distance. I strongly recommend this place to spend holidays.

Nicht zu empfehlen, das Zimmer war ein dunkles Kellerloch ohne Aussicht. Das Bad war sehr stark vom Schimmel befallen, die Küche war total schmutzig, roch sehr unangenehm und der Vermieter war ein arroganter unfreundlicher Engländer. Frühstück erst um 8:30 war uns deutlich zu spät. Wir vereinbarten ein Frühstück um 7:00 aber diesen Termin hat er wohl vergessen und war um die Zeit noch nicht wach. Wir fühlten uns hier überhaupt nicht wohl!

2.But, checkout time is 11AM, we was asked to check out early on 10:10AM because he want to clean his house. (other visitor were the same)
3.Service isn't good, boss is very serious. Boss want customers to match his time to eat breakfast (8:30AM), most traveler will go out early to go hiking or visiting in the mountain, breakfast is very simply, if you want to ask early, only cereal.
4. Room smells not good, we couldn't sleep well these days.
5. for other service and equipment, I don't want to say something, you can come to experience.
you will feel happy if you seem it as a basic expensive hostel.
This is the first one that we ever live and meet like this kind of hotel and boss.
We will come to Chomonix again, but we won't come to this hotel again.
