HÔTEL DE LA VILLÉON ^{* * * *}

Hidden gem in France. Perfect romantic getaway.

We very much enjoyed the hotel and room at this beautiful hotel. The hosts and restaurant were both high class. However, the cleaning service has much to be desired. When we came back from our first day touring, we found that there was no toilet paper, the dirty soaked towels that were on the floor were rehung to be used again, and the cleaning supplies were left in our room. In addition, the special room with its own terrace sits above other guests who continue to smoke thereby making sitting outside unpalatabl. Other than an apology there were no excuses. So if you don’t mind going to the front desk to ask for toilet paper and clean towels, then this is the place for you.

Hotel is not what was expected for the price. No parking. Foyer is like a hospital. Concierge didn’t know what time was breakfast. Front door was shut and uninviting. Air conditioning didn’t work and room didn’t have its own control. No fridge in the room. No view.

Bel hôtel situé dans les rues de Tournon. Il n'y a pas de parking dans l'hôtel, mais un grand sur la place à 2 pas, ainsi que quelques places juste devant l'entrée donc stationner n'est pas trop compliqué.|Notre chambre était très propre et jolie.|L'hôtel est très ancien, donc l'intérieur est un peu spécial pour le déplacement, j'avoue que je m'y perdais presque avec toutes ses portes...|Sur la terrasse, il y a une belle piscine non chauffée ; la température était très fraîche. Petit bémol : pas de marches pour descendre dans l'eau donc quand c'est froid, pas le choix que d'y aller d'un coup!|Nous avons consommé une bouteille de champagne qui malheureusement s'avérait bouchonnée. Nous n'avons osé le dire qu'à la fin de la conso. Le personnel était désolé pour nous, mais nous n'avons eu aucun geste commercial, c'est un peu dommage de ce côté-là.|Personnel agréable.

Médina et Mathias ont été d'une grande attention pour nous. Cette maison particulière est extraordinaire par ces terrasses et sa vue sur la ville et les vignes.
