CAMPING MUNICIPAL LE MOULIN DE GOURNIER ^{* * *}

Une merveilleuse étape dans ce camping où nous avons profité d'une nuit en "dur" en réservant la "pêcherie", une cabane et un bateau aménagés !

Très bel accueil dans ce petit camping au bord de l'eau plein de charme. Randonnées autour pour les amateurs. Calme assuré.

Features:

- lots of space between the tents/ camping cars
- south of France, but due to its location in the forest never too hot
- starting point for many trails
- in the vicinity of Malbosc, which is offering one of the best restaurants in the region
- offering simple meals, which are cooked with local vegetables grown by the young couple running the place
- offering a bar, where you can easily meet up with the locals passing by at lunch break and to take their 'apéro ' before returning home for dinner
- has a fully equipped music room, where you can team up with the locals/ other visitors for jam - sessions
Your prerequisites: this is a place in nature ( bees, hornets, spiders, ants, cats, dogs) , if you are afraid of insects or you are allergic to the fur of house - animals , this isn't for you.
If you prefer a camping place with animation, music, clean swimming pools, disco, the place doesn't fit either.
This camping is an insider tip for nature lovers, for people, who want to meet up with locals, love improvisation, and who want to leave civilization behind.
This place will transform you - and if you are lucky, you get a place, with its little capacity it's mostly booked.

Le meilleur camping dans lequel nous ayons eu la chance de planter la tente !
Nous y avons passé une semaine et tout a été absolument parfait.

La réservation par téléphone a rapidement donné le ton, la gérante est d'une gentillesse infinie ! Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous connaissions déjà notre emplacement et avons pu nous installer bien que la réception ait été fermée à cause de l'heure tardive. Dès le lendemain, tout a été expliqué très clairement, nous avons même eu des recommandations sur les chemins de randonnées alentours !

L'emplacement au bord de la rivière est idyllique. Immense, calme et ombragé toute la journée, aucun reproche à formuler, nous sommes tombés amoureux de la quiétude du camping, merci beaucoup pour ce séjour inoubliable !

This is one of my favourite campings ever. The camping terrain is very nice and small, the people that this camping attracts are very nice, and the people that work on the camping/the owner(s) are very open and kind. I would love to go back one time, maybe with a car instead of hitchhiking so we can explore the surrounding more easily. Though also without a car we had enough to keep us busy; lots of swimming in the river to which our campsite was connected, eating out at the little restaurant on the camping at which they serve very nice vegetarian food, playing jeux de boules, etc.
