HÔTEL DE DIGOINE

Poussez la grande porte en fer du XVIIIe de l'hôtel Digoine, entrez dans la cour intérieure et déjà, vous sentirez remonter le temps. Cette maison à la décoration insolite n'offre pas seulement gite et couvert aux voyageurs, mais plutôt un voyage... dans l'histoire de France ou sur les routes de la soie, au gré de vos envies. Un lieu vraiment magique, qui offre un grand dépaysement juste en bordure de Rhône et de la Drôme. Le plus qui nous a définitivement conquis, une grande piscine dans les combles, (avec nage à contre courant), installée sous les voutes, vous assure calme et volupté, extrêmement agréable pendant les chaleurs de l'été ardéchois.

Demeure splendide, dépaysement assuré. Idéal pour une virée romantique en amoureux.

Hôtel de goût,de grands espaces de vie et décoration a travers le temps. Belle cour et possibilité de stationnement proche. Petit déjeuner convivial pour 14€/personne (prix un peu élèvé par rapport au contenu)
Concernant la chambre : conforme aux photos, chaleur peu supportable,malgré 2 climatiseurs.
Chasse d'eau fuyante, ménage global moyen, litterie tachée,poils,toiles d'araignée...
Améliorations nécessaires pour un séjour parfait.

Hotel has eccentric decorations but.
-Host almost charged us double (booking was already paid online - he sent an email on second day to ask me to pay instead of addressing it during check-in)
-Wifi is slow, sometimes not available at all
-Toilet didn't flush properly (he fixed it after asking for help but grumpy mood)
-We booked twin beds and received a double bed, received extra blanket after asking)
-When I asked for wifi password he answered annoyed that it's on the table, I had to ask again as I couldn't find it on the huge reception table
-Forbid us to drink wine is the bedroom bc he claimed ppl wouldn't respect the hotel room
-You have to ring literally a bell so he comes out
-bathroom has no door
On the second day we were there he send an email with the following: réserver les canoës-kayak a St Martin d'Ardèche et non à Vallon pont d'Arc)... (die Kajaks St Martin d'Ardèche und nicht in Vallon pont d'Arc reservieren) - he knew we were already put and had booked-what is going on here?
-its not really clean with dead flies etc
-Gate locked until 7.45 when we wanted to check out early
If this guy claims I am a competitor see the other reviews...suggestion: take criticism as a way to improve.

An enchanting place , beautiful and lead your imagination run through back in time at the silk road trade between Europ and China.
The owner of the hotel is very helpful and breakfast is superb
The hotel next to the river ,all set up like a dream .
The place very easy to reach and park.
