Nous avons vraiment été déçus, la référence au guide Michelin n'est pas justifiée à nos palais, musique hard rock inadéquate, plats beaucoup trop compliqués avec des produits très moyens, prix très chers.

Excellent menu « surprise » 4 services. A la fois original et raffiné. Cuissons parfaites. Le Chef qui fait tout lui même est un véritable pro à tous points de vue. Laissez vous surprendre sans hésitation.

This is a marvelous restaurant where we have eaten many times over the past decade. Thomas runs a one person operation with great skill, care, and precision. The food is always marvelous. The wine list is carefully curated with lots of local choices mixed with pricier options.
Read the other reviews with a discerning eye. The chef asks in advance for your dietary restrictions, but the menu choice is his selection. And Thomas is particular, by which I mean, very professional and precise. The atmosphere is serene. The terrace is calm and warmly lit. Above all, Thomas is a marvelous chef. Most highly recommended. Make a reservation.

We had a delicious lunch. Very impressive that Chef does it all— greeting, taking orders, serving, and clearing. We had the four-course menu and loved every bite. Unfortunately, we will not return. When I booked our reservation, I mentioned I could not eat gluten. When we arrived and read the menu in French and English, it stated to share allergies/food intolerances, the chef also asked us. Each time I repeated that I cannot eat gluten and he said no problem. I confidently ate everything, including the delicious grain that "wasn’t risotto but was like risotto"….. It turns out it was spelt. In the US, spelt is not gf. The local variety he served is considered "nearly" gluten-free (“a very old variety in Villars that is .001% gluten”). Well, his decision to determine how much gluten I could safely consume was not a good one, it was too much for me. Celiacs and others with gluten intolerance, be warned.
