Très décevant. Week end très décevant à l’hôtel Burrhus (où nous étions allés de nombreuses fois avant le changement de propriétaire). |Accueil très peu aimable (voire désagréable)|Chambre sombre et sans éclairage (une grotte…)|Salle de bain sans pare douche et totalement inondée|Bref, je n’y retournerai pas

We have stayed at Hotel Burrhus regularly in the past years. Fully renovated this year, it maintains its cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We love the central location. The spotless rooms with beautiful original floor tiles are not overloaded and some have a piece of beautiful vintage furniture. The beds are very comfortable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We can only recommend this hotel. Try to book well in advance, the place is often fully booked, especially during high season.

L'aménagement de l'hôtel est vraiment démodé et exige vraiment un modernisation compète.||Quand on prend une douce la salle de bain risque d'être inondée.||Presque pas de lumière de jour dans la chambre.||On est sorti plein avec des morsures de punaises (bedwantsen)

The hotel does have an excellent location, right on the main square in town, as well as near the main attractions and streets, and the staff are lovely and very helpful. But you need to be cautioned about a few limitations : 1. we took a "regular" room. It was very small and spartan although clean. No real storage areas. 2. There is no parking on site, and although a large lot is less than a 5 minute walk away, there is really no easy place to drop of your luggage (there is a smaller lot on the other side of the square, but often full, and with only short term parking available, your car would need to be moved by the morning if you could find a spot). 3. There are no elevators and lots of steps, so be prepared for a workout if carrying luggage. 4. The breakfast, although plentiful, is buffet style. Given the abundant delicious choices in town, would choose those even if it means spending a bit more for the meal.
