HÔTEL RESTAURANT MONTMIRAIL

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. It is less about the faded quality of what might have once been a nice place (dinner cooked in the style of the 1960s with overdone fish and vegetables that looked and tasted like from the deep freezer, broken lights in the bathroom, can’t take a shower standing as the hose is too short etc), it is all about the people, getting insulted by the owners and an attempt to rip us off. The owners (both father and son) made us feel extremely unwelcomed, literally the worst experience we had ever. Starting with the father nervously tapping the table while we we still looking in the menue as it was already 3 mins past 9 (sorry for the delay on a 10 hours drive) and kitchen is about to close. Continuing with taking pictures of our belongings (GDPR and privacy seems to be unknown here) to evidence we used the protection bedcover as dog bed (which we didn’t, our dog is allowed to sleep in the bed) and telling us off like school kids („we don’t appreciate such a behavior“) to in the end the son telling my wife to get out (using a get-out hand gesture like you do when yelling at your kids) and insulting us and our dog. Wow. So much unfriendliness and unwelcoming behaviour we really never experienced in any hotel in the world. It is in the end all about people, making guests feel like home, respect and good manners. In this hotel all those things are lacking. Only come here if you like getting insulted or if you want to spend a really poor time. Thank good we only stayed two nights and skipped breakfast, which looked like from a youth hostel. Oh, not to forget that they tried to cheat us by adding the breakfast we did not order and did not have to the bill, telling us we were „recorded to have it“ - not sure how as we left the place as soon as possible to get a croissant in the nearby bakery…

Ein wundervoller Ort!

Inhabergeführtes Hotel mit unglaublich herzlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeberfamilie, sowie ein Restaurant, bei dem keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Stimmungsvolle Terrasse unter alten Platanen, toller Garten mit großem Pool. Die Ruhe der Umgebung mitten in den Weinbergen spricht für sich. Perfekter Startpunkt für ausgedehnte Rennradtouren in der Gegend des Mont Ventoux oder Wandertouren in die Dentelles de Montmirail.

Petit hôtel familial en pleine nature jardin soigné avec des fleurs belle piscine terrasse très agréable pour le dîner. Restaurant de qualité.|Mais surtout un patron charmant qui vous dit toujours un petit mot une équipe attentionnée et professionnelle.|Juste chambre un peu vieillotte au rez de chaussée mais avec petit frigo.|On reviendra avec plaisir ds ce petit coin de paradis !

De nombreuses qualités pour cet hôtel restaurant : un site agréable, calme, une belle batisse, des chambres rénovées, une terrasse très agréable, un personnel cordial et efficace, une restauration de qualité ..|Mais notre expérience à été gâchée sur 2 points:|1. la literie (en bon état) est très ferme. Au point que ma femme et moi avons passé de mauvaises nuits, pas récupératrices. Si vous aimez les lits durs, cela vous conviendra, sinon vous êtes prévenus|2. l'hôtel accepte les chiens, sans supplément qui plus est. C'est un très bon point. Malheureussement, c'est au prix d'un flicage de tous les instants, basé sur des règles propres à l'hotel. Ainsi j'ai été repris fermement parce que mon petit chien avait, au retour d'une balade à l'extérieur, pénétré de 10 m dans la cour de l'établissement sans être immédiatement mis en laisse. De même, le directeur est venu nous voir à table pour nous indiquer que la femme de ménage avait trouvé des poils de chien sur le lit (sic). Ambiance ... |Si aucun de ces 2 points ne vous concerne, vous devriez passer un bon séjour. Dans le cas contraire mieux vaut trouver une alternative|

On dit souvent que pour apprécier un lieu , un service , le premier point très important est l'accueil, eh bien ici des votre arrivée c'est exactement cet accueil chaleureux , sympathique, professionnel , qui vous attends. Et pour couronner le tout , un emplacement, un cadre , un service , une restauration au top. Un endroit à ne pas manquer dans la région.
