What an amazing place to stay! This was our favourite spot of our whole honeymoon. Excellent breakfast, peaceful setting, thoughtfully decorated and beautiful building. The host Valerie is wonderful and welcoming.

Fantastic place to stay in Provence! Valerie is an amazing host with wonderful information on local places. Sault has interesting restaurants in its village and neighboring villages, shops and biking options (lavendar fields, Mt. Ventoux, Gorge le Nesque).

We stayed for four days and really enjoyed both the house and the region. The rooms and the building are tastefully decorated, and everything was clean and well maintained. The landlady was friendly and helpful throughout. We also appreciated the secure garage for storing our road bikes. A place with atmosphere.

Un lieu magnifique , très belle maison , rénovée avec goût, un jolie style provençal , une propreté irréprochable.
Chambres immenses , salle de bain avec douche italienne , savon et shampoings hauts de gamme, aux senteurs de Lavande et aux huiles essentielles
Hôte très agréable et discrète.
Petits dej copieux, parfait , variés, avec des produits du terroir et de saison.????????????
Garage à vélo et moto.
Je recommande ce gîte à 100% ????????

Une bien belle demeure avec une superbe vu.
La chambre en étage donne sur le jardin de la Maison Léonard. La propriétaire des lieux, discrète, donne de précieux conseils et prépare un petit dej de qualité. Très joli week end. Merci

Wonderful. Lovely freshly renovated old house, excellent shower, scenic views right from my bed, scent of lavender through the house, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful owner Valerie.||Sault is an extremely quiet village with charming little winding streets and old houses, and we had excellent meals at a nearby restaurant. For a walk, Valerie advised us to drive a few km before parking and walking on a lavender trail, and she was right, it was better to drive to the start rather than walk from the village. Very easy flat walk between lavender fields, with birdsong coming from the stream burbling past.

Wonderful for all the reasons the other reviews here mention. Lovely freshly renovated old house, excellent shower, scenic views right from my bed, scent of lavender through the house, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful owner Valerie.

As for Sault, it's an extremely quiet neighborhood with charming little winding streets and old houses, and we had excellent meals at a nearby restaurant. For a walk, Valerie advised us to drive a few km before parking and walking on a lavender trail, and she was right, it was better to drive to the start rather than walk from the village.

About some of the complaints others had in the reviews. It's true our room didn't lock but it it was up some extra stairs and isolated from the rest of the house so we didn't feel insecure. Maybe her dog has matured -- I am not comfortable with dogs but I asked her to "introduce" him to me, and then he never bothered me.

Nous avons séjourné au début du mois d'août à la maison Léonard et nous avons adoré. L'atmosphère et le charme de la maison , la gentillesse et la disponibilité de notre hôtesse, tout concourt à rendre le séjour des plus agréables et reposant. Nous reviendrons bien sûr !!!

Maison Leonard de Ventoux is zonder twijfel het fijnste, rustigste en smaakvolste chambre d’hotes waar ik ooit mocht verblijven. Middenin Sault maar tegelijk super rustig. Eigenaresse Valerie creëert maatwerk voor elke gast met haar persoonlijke aandacht, gevoel voor kwaliteit en haar warmte. Heerlijk ontbijt en lekkere lokale biertjes en wijn in de koeling. Praktische garage voor je fiets. Heerlijke plek!

Very authentic and cozy old house in the middle of the old town of Sault. The super-friendly owner Valerie lives downstairs and runs the Maison day-to-day. She even washed our sweaty clothes after a day of cycling to Mt Ventoux.

The rooms are stylishly decorated, but have mostly retained their original look & feel, so expect a bit chilly room, old wooden cabinets with worn doors and a bit hard-to-operate wooden doors with huge keys.

There’s a garage for bike storage, plenty of parking places within short walking distance, and greak breakfasts offered by Valerie in the morning.

Heerlijk huis met prachtige kamers en een hele lieve gastvrouw. Heerlijk ontbijt en je mag de tuin gebruiken. Prachtige plaats, Sault. Er valt veel te zien en te ontdekken. Aanrader!
