Wir waren zum Abendessen dort und grundsätzlich ist das Ambiente sehr schön. Leider war unser Erlebnis durch einen Kellner stark getrübt: Ein Mann mit langen Haaren und sichtbarer Tätowierung am Arm war extrem unfreundlich, patzig und herablassend.

Auf der Karte war ein Gericht mit Schafskäse angegeben – serviert wurde jedoch Camembert. Als wir freundlich nachfragten, wurde uns vom Kellner (eben jener mit langen Haaren) sehr bestimmt erklärt, dass Camembert hier als Schafskäse gilt und man „nichts anderes kennt“. Erst nachdem wir den Küchenchef sprechen wollten, bekamen wir eine Entschuldigung – der Küchenchef war freundlich, ehrlich und kulant, bot uns ein Dessert aufs Haus an und bestätigte, dass es sich *nicht* um Schafskäse handelte.

Leider hatten weder Service noch Wissen des Kellners ein Niveau, das dem Anspruch und Preisniveau des Restaurants gerecht wird. Sehr schade – der Rest des Teams wirkte bemüht, aber so ein Verhalten eines einzelnen Mitarbeiters kann den Abend ruinieren.

Venus juste pour le petit déjeuner, nous avons été très déçu du service.|Ni nappes , ni sets de table sur les tables du petit déjeuner, on ne sait pas où poser les couverts. Les coussins des banquettes sont sales et pleins de feuilles, obligé de nettoyer moi même avant de m'assoir. Pas de coussins d'assises sur les chaises en fer forgé, donc pas confortable du tout. Oeuf à la coque commandé, arrivé presque cuit dur. Pas de petite cuillère avec la compote, le sucre pour le cappuccino est servi dans un grand sucrier et est complètement compacté au fond. Bref un service en inéquation avec le standing revendiqué. Le staff n'est pas du tout au niveau ...même si les jeunes serveurs et serveuses sont agréables.|Les produits du buffet sont de bonne qualité heureusement.

Stayed on a first floor room facing the street for two nights. The room is not so clean: I find spider nets in multiple areas and there’s constant sewage smells coming from the bathroom. Also, I got woken up by pedestrians every morning: kids screaming, people talking… I really regret booking this hotel and didn’t enjoy it at all. The only upside is all the staff are super friendly.

My favorite hotel experience of all time. The most aesthetically pleasing, beautiful, friendly, clean, comfortable, welcoming, peaceful stay ever. All hotels for me are measured against our experience here…. The staff is amazing, the food superb. Simply perfect.

Un.beau lieu , ancien moulin joliment rénové une équipe aimable à la fois à la réception et en salle( même si le service peut être lent.)|La piscine est très petite et ne semble pas gérée, on ne sait pas quels sont les transats utilisés car serviettes et verres ne sont pas ramassés reguli, c'est dommage car le jardin ombragé est agréable

Lovely hotel in a great little town. We liked the location and the hotel’s overall aesthetic. However, the room was very uncomfortable, and the staff not helpful. The room’s broken air conditioning in June made our evenings incredibly unpleasant, and we were offered a fan and no apology or remedy. For that reason, we cannot recommend.

From the moment you arrive with a lovely welcome, this hotel makes you feel cosseted and valued. Great rooms, seriously comfy beds, in a quiet location but in the heart of Lourmarin, just minutes from the fabulous chateau and right on the doorstep of the cobbled streets of this historic and lovely town. The restaurant is superb, there's a fabulous bar with a terrace overlooking the historic streets and their homemade lemonade is the best I have ever had. It's also a great base for the Luberon/Provence area. First class hotel, great staff, fabulous rooms - everything you want in a hotel and more.

From the moment we arrived the service was above and beyond. After mentioning we had just driven 7 hours they immediately insisted we sit and relax and brought us complimentary drinks while they completed our check in. Design and materials of this renovated property are perfect. Location is great in wonderfully charming town in Provence in the Luberon valley.

Our stay at Le Moulin could not have been better. The location of the hotel is excellent for enjoying the restaurants, shops, and market of Lourmarin. The hotel itself is lovely and uniquely French in its design and very fitting for a former windmill. We loved the decor of the restaurant and its lovely patio. Everyone on the staff was friendly, welcoming and very professional. Their English is excellent. We also very much appreciated the breakfast staff who remembered our breakfast preferences. We also appreciated the valet (Hugo?) who was very outgoing and welcoming and good at his job.|It you plan to stay in Lourmarin, in our opinion Le Moulin is THE place to book.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel in einem idyllischen Ort. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit zurückversetzt!|Das Hotel liegt mitten im Ortskern sodass man auf der Terasse sitzend, einen Pastis in der Hand das rege Treiben beobachten kann und sich umgehend im Urlaub fühlt…|Wir blieben 2 Nächte und hatten ein wunderschönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer.|Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder!!|PS. Hunde sind willkommen

I only had lunch at Le Moulin but it was worth the visit. Beautiful dining areas both inside and on two separate terraces. Excellent food, professional friendly service. Set in the heart of Lourmarin, consistently named one of France's most beautiful villages - deservedly so. Good selection of local and other regional wines. Good place for a light bite or full meal. Highly recommended.

Tout était parfais, depuis l’accueil jusqu’au check-out en passant par le restaurant, aucune fausse note.|Chambre décorée avec soin, propre et bien équipée, insonorisation efficace, nous avons bien dormis.|L’accès direct au centre du village et la piscine sont un plus.|Merci à toute l’équipe :)

Beautiful hotel in the centre of a charming village. Fantastic staff and great restaurant. A wonderful base from which to explore the region - loads of street parking right in front of the hotel and by the castle (2 mins walk) for Fridays (market day)

I don't know why this hotel only received 4 stars. It was as good as any 5 star we stayed at.||The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, attentive and immediately fixed whatever wasn't perfect.||The breakfast buffet was superb. Cappuccino, a pitcher of freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh variety of french baked goods, and more. Eggs, French cheeses, yogurt and more on request. ||And a great value for the money!

Excellentissime à tous les niveaux. Accueil au top, personnel extrêmement agréable et aux petits soins, chambre fabuleuse, restaurant extraordinaire. A beautiful little hotel in the heart of Lourmarin where the service was super attentive, welcoming and friendly without being stuffy. We stayed here over new year's eve and there was lots going on at the hotel. The rooms were stylish and clean, ours was in the little townhouse just down the street from the hotel so it felt like a home away from home. The sheets were so soft and crisp!

Great bar with delicious options and a super fun and chatty bar tender who, even though he was rushed off his feet on new year's in the restaurant, made time to chat properly with us in the bar. The provencal negroni was a winner!

The location of Lourmarin is great as it allows you to explore all the pretty french villages in the Luberon and return to one of them at night!

Only comments would be it would have been nice if our bedroom window opened but it seems they were closed shut on purpose with no way to open, just to look out in the morning onto the street below and air the room. Another comment would be that the hotel could use a couple of cosy sofas in the bar (there is a banquette but nothing to really sink into). We also would have swam if the pool would have been heated, that would be a mega touch! Super small details though.

Belle journée d'anniversaire passée en famille. Accueil et services attentionnés dans un très joli cadre. C'est notre deuxième expérience cette année et c'est avec plaisir que nous avons partagé un bruch ce dimanche.

Très bel hôtel idéalement situé dans le cœur de Lourmarin, mais...
Service attentionné et d'une grande qualité dans le cadre magnifiquement refait à neuf avec beaucoup de goût en utilisant des artisans locaux.
Le restaurant est également très bon.

Une remarque néanmoins sur le petit déjeuner affreusement cher (20€) pour lequel on vous fait payer en plus le café supplémentaire (3€) !
Attention a ne pas abuser sur les prix si vous souhaitez fidéliser vos clients.

Nous sommes venus dans ce restaurant plusieurs fois (avant et après changement de propriétaire) et jamais déçus. Rapport qualité prix parfait. Personnel aimable, bons produits locaux.
