Un lieu hors du temps, avec un personnel d’une gentillesse sincère. La cuisine est raffinée, préparée avec des produits frais et locaux. Lourmarin est sans doute l’un des plus beaux villages de la région, même si on en fait vite le tour. Le Galinier est idéal pour une parenthèse paisible ????

Très heureux d’avoir passé 5 jours dans ce merveilleux endroit. Le personnel est très gentil , souriant et accueillant. L’hôtel se trouve dans un cadre verdoyant à 2 minutes à pied du centre. Parfait. Petit déjeuner copieux

We absolutely loved our time at Le Galinier! The property is truly a slice of tranquility in our busy world. Geraldine was a wonderful host, and made us feel special. Only two minor comments...there was a gathering one night with light snacks and wine that we would have possibly attended, but were not told anything about it in advance. There was a small calendar of events on the dining table that we saw, but we weren't sure if it was something we needed to have signed up previously to enjoy, or if we could just show up. No one mentioned anything about it to us, and we returned from a day out just as it was ending. We had plenty to do, so it wasn't a big deal. And our other comment is that, while the breakfast was wonderful, it isn't worth 25 Euro/pp. Most of the other 7 hotels we stayed at either included breakfast, or at most charged 15 Euros/pp for the same quality assortment, which we feel is much more reasonable. Otherwise, everything was truly just as we had hoped! Thank you!

That feeling- when you arrive to one of the most beautiful Provence villages and realize that you booked the most fabulous property. Beyond any expectation.

The grounds were beautiful and the location was excellent, right across the street from the very beautiful Lourmarin village. The rooms vary from the classic room, which we had, to what seemed to be very large and luxurious suites. Breakfast was excellent and included a buffet of pastries, vegetables, cereal and a fresh cooked omelette. Note that our room had a bath but not a shower. One reviewer mentioned that they were charged for the coffee capsules in the room but we asked and were told that they are free. The blue ones are decaf and the brown ones are regular coffee. My favorite part was the frogs in a small pond near the entrance that sang enthusiastically.

No detail left behind. As you drive through the entry to the grounds it totally sets the stage. Peaceful. Right in the village with a 5min walk to all the restaurants and castle but secluded.

The room had a loft bedroom and a kitchen downstairs. This is perfect for a romantic couple get away. However the cozy open shower to the loft bedroom takes some coordinating if sharing the room with a friend. Also note that the staircase is quite risky in design as one can literally fall through the steps on the side. This is not a kid friendly room.

This property fits somewhere between a boutique hotel and a guest house. The three small 18th century buildings that surrounding a courtyard have been beautifully renovated in a way that preserves the historic elements while creating modern amenities. We had a family of seven people staying for 5 nights in late June to early July. (5 adults and two young children). We could not have been more pleased with the rooms, grounds and the superb staff. We stayed in Loft Blanc and Maison du Chef suites, both wonderfully decorated in an appropriate simple, comfortable manner. Overall, the food was excellent. The breakfasts were delicious and generous. On several nights a chef prepared dinners for guests which were served outside and were greatly enjoyed by the entire group. The pool was large and well maintained as were the the well landscaped grounds. ||The nearby village of Lourmarin was everything you’d want in a Provençal village. Absolutely charming.||The property was lightly staffed as a guest house, but all the necessary services were well provided.

Valentin nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Attentif et disponible pour chacun de nous tout au long du repas,il nous a aussi conseillé des vins parfaits !
Johanna nous a régalé avec son menu surprenant et raffiné.
De jolies assiettes bien dressées et des saveurs exquises!

A beautiful vacation property with nothing left to be desired! If you enjoy lush gardens, a quiet pool and picturesque grounds to explore, this is the place for you! Parking was very accessible and the location was incredibly safe, and secluded. The town was a short walk away- with a local farmers market on the weekend. If you're looking for accommodations that can offer room service and in-house dining, consider their other property nearby- Le Moulin de Lourmarin. I'm already dreaming of my next visit! 11/10!

Wonderful! Just 1 minute walk from several cafes and then the old town, but situated in its own large grand old garden, so it is very quiet. Large and well-equipped kitchen and common space, (although those were chilly in February). Breakfast is not provided, only tea and coffee, but we brought our own bread and fruit, and the cafes are very nearby.

Quel cadre. La bastide a été rénovée avec goût et avec aucune fausse note. Le personnel est souriant et très agréable

המקום יקר יפהפה מושקע ומפנק. נהננו מאד מהנוי, הבריכה, המטבח המצויד והדירה המהממת. אני מצטערת שלא ניצלנו את כל ההיצע כולל שיעורי היוגה. שלושה נושאים לביקורת - א. אמבטיות בחדרים זה נפלא, הבעיה שקשה להתקלח בלי להשפריץ ... ב. ישנו בלופט- חדר השירותים הקלסטרופובי למעלה אינו נעים, מזל שיש תא נוסף. ג. לארוחת הבוקר יש ריח נפלא, אבל המחיר יקר בלי פרופורציה לכלום - ויתרנו.

Endroit magnifique. Calme. Verdure. Un vrai havre de paix. Chambres agréables et spacieuses. Piscine et extérieurs entretenus et propres. Tout pour passer un bon moment.

We loved this hotel, the grounds and pool were spectacular and the location is amazing. Right on the edge of a lovely village.

Un lieu magnifique, du personnel adorable sans chichi. La cuisine de la cheffe Minou Sabahi te retournera les papilles et tu trouveras en toi l’équilibre qu’il te manquait dans la vie.

We were really looking forward to our stay here, as we were very appealed by the pictures online.

Positives:
- beautiful setting. Well manicured landscape and unique rooms. It definitely sets you up to feel you are in Provence.
- great location. Just a quick walk from Lourmarin village, and the squares where they had the farmers market and artisan fair.
-the pool was beautiful and maintained an optimal temperature

Negatives:
- for the price equivalent of a 5 star hotel, it lacks amenities. Breakfast was a surcharge of E20 per person, and it was not substantive enough to warrant that price. Lots of sweets, no protein. For eggs, you’d have to add extra E5. This is the part I find most troubling. At the price point where we paid for our rooms, I personally would not notice the difference if the room was $600 vs $650. So I’d recommend the hotel just includes breakfast to reduce my cognitive load in having to make a decision about the value of the breakfast and whether or not I want to pay for it. If the breakfast had been offered as free, it’d significantly improved my overall experience.

- the rooms are very pretty, again, transport you away from your normal setting to the South of France. That said, they are not practical. The toilet door didn’t fully close, and the flush is loud and takes minutes. I’d not recommend for couple early in their courtship. The claw foot tub is beautiful but again not practical. Any time we tried to use the handheld to rinse, water spilled all over into the room. And when I did try to take a bath, I found multiple hair in the tub - did they clean it?! Also, there’s mold behind the tub. For the amount of water that spills over, I’m curious how it’d stay free of mold.
- One minor detail: the AC didn’t work well and the room stayed quite warm (during the heat wave.)
Overall, I regretted spending multiple nights here. I think my review would have been drastically different if I had only spent 1 night, or even just stopped for a meal.

De passage en Provence, le Galinier est un havre de paix, hors du temps dans lequel j’ai adoré séjourner. Je n’ai pas les mots pour décrire mon expérience. Je ne peux que vous inviter à suivre mes pas!

Dès mon arrivée au Galinier, dans un parc d’exception, j'ai été accueilli par un personnel souriant et très pro.
Mention spéciale à Valentin, une personnalité vraiment très attachante et inspirante, avec qui j’ai pu avoir de belles discussions, quel plaisir !

Et maintenant, parlons du restaurant.
Oh là là ! Les assiettes, un véritable feu d'artifice de saveurs.
La cheffe Minou est une véritable artiste. J’ai encore le goût et la fraîcheur de ses plats en tête et en papille.

Cette merveilleuse expérience de cette événement Baïta était ponctuée par une superbe ambiance festive et musicale. Je me suis même laissé aller à quelques pas de danse endiablés sur la piste.

N'hésitez pas une seconde de plus, prenez vos valises, et rendez-vous à au Galinier à Lourmarin.

Had the most amazing time at Le Galinier! The staff made the experience even more delightful. Minou, the chef, was probably the biggest surprise of our stay: seasonal dishes, cooked from the heart. Would come back again with friends & fam!

Un moment magnifique, le lieu est incroyable, à deux pas du centre, j'ai passé un après-midi mémorable à l'occasion de l'événement Baita sur l'herbe, que je ne connaissais pas! L'ambiance était légendaire, j'ai gouté un sandwich de la chef Minou Sabahi délicieux et les gens qui nous ont reçu aussi. Je reviendrais vite! Merci à toute l'équipe!!

Je reviens régulièrement et avec plaisir au Galinier, le temps d'un verre autour d'une partie de pétanque, ou dans les jardins fleuris de la bastide. Un cadre magnifique en plein coeur de Lourmarin, dans lequel on se sent chez-soi, merci à Valentin pour son accueil chaleureux.

Un petit paradis très calme à une minute à pied du coeur de Lourmarin, le jardin est sublime et l'accueil divin. Merci à l'équipe!

Valentin nous a très bien accueilli. Le lieu est magnifique, le chef au top , nous avons passé un très bon dîner, accompagné du champ des grenouilles

2인으로 듀플렉스 스위트에서 머물렀습니다. 상상하던 남부프랑스 감성에 깔끔한 숙소가 좋아서 예약했는데, 부대시설(수영장, 정원, 와이파이: 수영장에서도 됨)도 좋았습니다. 숙소 내 세탁기, 건조기도 있으며(세탁용세제는 없음), 부엌에 식기 및 식기 세척기, 전자레인지 등 필요한 건 다 있습니다. 수납 공간도 충분하며, 방에 붙어있는 개인 정원도 있습니다
. 숙소가 마을 옆에 있어서 저녁에는 걸어서 몇몇 식당에 가기 좋습니다. 우린 2박3일만 머물렀지만, 주변에 시장, 빵집, 식료품점도 있으니 더 길게 머물러도 좋을 듯 합니다.

Splendide ! Cadre merveilleux aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur

An absolutely idyllic spot just outside the beautiful village of Lourmarin. Le Galinier is charming and the rooms well equipped. We stayed in the Duplex Suite - well equipped kitchen and lovely sitting area. Steep stairs to bedroom above but not a problem. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer!
