GRAND HÔTEL HENRI ^{* * * *}

Perfect location, helpfull employee and spectacular garden! You feel yourself in heaven under that garden. There are many restaurants, cafes, markets and a pharmacie within walking distance from hotel. The hotel has a parking lot and is very comfortable. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast is full of flavors from local producers. There was no ventilation in bathroom and wc but it was ok since we leaved the door opened and vantilated room easily. We stayed standard garden rooms on May.

We really loved our stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect and we would highly recommend it to anyone staying in this part of France!

The public rooms and garden are delightful and the warm welcome in this family run hotel is gennuine and appreciated. The dining room, for dinner and brekfast, are both admirable. I'm especially grateful for the last minute substitution to give us a ground floor room in what appears to be a motel style annex. We had already been in three characterful hotels with considerable steps in the first two weeks of our Your stairs tripa.would have been a real challenge for my wife.||That being said, our assigned room had some drawbacks. Perhaps it was a "handicapped room. The rainwater shower has no enclosure. Which means that at least a third of the bathroom gets wet. Large bath towels helped to dry the floor, but this is not something we look forward to on vacation. The bathroom has a frequent French defect, which I call "twilight lighting". A few track lights in a high ceiling do very little to help men shave and women apply makeup.||The queen size bed took up much of the "bedroom". so much so that there was no room for an end table on the right side of the bed. Most annoying, and easliy fixable, the armoire makes a very loud squeak every time you move its door. Do you have WD40 or other lubricants in France? That piece of furniture desperately need it. ||Thumbs up for offering some English channel televison news stations and for the fairly spacious secure parking lot. ||One or more of your staff made extraordinary efforts to help my wife get a hairdressing appointment during a holiday week. Unfortunately, the first and second salons were not up to the task. Nice people, but neither was experienced in doing updos. Our track record with french salons continues to be mostly awful.
